I have gradually been getting back into making some cards but trying with die cuts.  I'm gradually selling my stamps as they are not being used anymore so if you are interested in any Magnolia stamps let me know which ones you are after as I may have it in my stash :-)

The following card I made for my Auntie's birthday which is today (St David's Day) as well as her husband (my Uncle) and my Dad so a very busy day today.  I have used a piece of purple dp from a Crafters Companion paper set I had in my stash, the main die is from Tonic and the butterfly is layered up from a Tattered Lace die cut.

Sorry image not very focused but taken on my phone as have lost my photo programme on my Macbook when I had to have a new hard-drive.  The sentiment is from a Forever Friends sentiment set which I have curved to give it some definition.  Its only a simple card until I build up my die cut stash.

Many thanks for looking.

Many thanks for looking

I'm sorry not been around for a very long time.  I just haven't been in the crafting frame of mind as of late.  I've tried to enjoy being in my craft room but just can't find any motivation.  I'm going to maybe start looking at doing die cut imaged creations as I'm finding my colouring isn't very good compared to all the other talented ladies out there.

So just thought I'd do an update for now with events this year.  Seren finished year 4 at first school back in July.  Then in September she started middle school which has made Seren seem grown up all of a sudden.

I did a stall at my second ever craft fair selling my homemade cupcakes as my friend I shared the stall with had made cards, advent boxes, bread pudding, cookies and toffee.  We had a very successful day.  Be a while till we decide to do another one though I think.  I usually make cupcakes for my moms Chapel when they have a mini market every 3 months.  My friend is the one who has got me thinking more of die cutting as she does them herself.

I will post some of my die cut cards but as yet I don't know of any challenge blogs for die cutting as really new to it so if you know of any that would be a great help.

Anyway thats it for now but I will be back very soon

I'm sorry for not being around for a while but just haven't had my crafting brain of late but I will make cards as and when I want them for friends and relatives.

Seren has been doing excellent since she moved schools and I am so proud of her.  She attends the Middle School once a month (which hopefully she will be attending in September) for Gifted and Talented Maths.  Also Seren was the main narrator along with a fellow class mate for the school nativity held in the local church.  Seren also got 100% attendance award for last term and achieved Writer of the Week.  For this the whole school are given a theme which that week was A View Through A Window, they have 20 minutes to write about something which there teacher marks.  Seren wrote about the planets and the stars which her teacher thought was that good it deserved a Head Teacher Award and also her write read out in assembly.

Now for my 2 creations.  Unfortunately they aren't for any challenges.

The first picture was of some quick xmas cards I made before xmas last year and the second is for a friend of mine at work.

Hope to post some more creations again very soon.

Hi I thought I would post a pic of the card I made for Seren who has started year 4 at a completely new school.

Already she will be doing things more than at her old school.  She will be going swimming which won't be a problem as she is already a member of Wombourne Swimming Club and also as part of the music curiculum Seren will be learning to play the violin!

Hi I'm back again so must be getting back into things.  Then again Christmas is on its way so need to get cracking with some cards. Seren isnt back at school till Wednesday so I just have 5 mins to post this lol.

I have used yet another of my newly purchased gorgeous stamps from Bildmalarna called Mimosa Christmas Flower and coloured her in with pro markers.  I then cut her out with one of my curved rectangular Nestie.  The dp is a selection from Dovecraft Back to Basics Christmas - Traditional pack.  The card stock is kraft from my stash.  For the circle I used one of my circle nestie's.  The lace is Chantilly from Stampin Up, the sentiment is from The Snowman sentiment selection, ponsietta flowers are from wildorchidcrafts and the red adhesive gems are from Hobbycraft.

I have used the lovely sketch over on this weeks ChristmasChallenges(with sketches).

Hi everyone its been ages since I posted a card but totally lost my mojo and motivation somewhere but hopefully its slowly returning.  I decided to buy some new stash to help as was totally bored with what I already had and may sell some of the old to make way for new stuff.

The card I have created is for the challenge over on Christmas Challenges (with sketches) with an added twist of adding Snow and Stars.

I have used one of my newest stamp purchases from Bildmalarna called Snowflake, coloured her in with promarkers and added ice stickles for the snow effect.  I used kraft card stock and a selection of papers from Back To Basics Traditional Christmas pack.  I used ribbon from gold coloured wooden star shapes from Hobbycraft and the sentiment is from Stampendous.
