My cousin Fiona is getting married 6th December 2008 and so had a go at making them a wedding card. I used a Tilda wedding stamped image coloured in distressed inks and gold glitter writer. For this challenge I used Edwin and Tilda skating and coloured them in using distressed ink and tried to use different shades of the green. I mounted the image with sticky pads onto backing papers from my stash (as not sure what the pack was called as bought of ebay a while ago now). The ribbon was from my stash and I used my new Crafters Companion Ultimate Pro to make the bow. The Ultimate Pro is a present off my 3 year old daughter for my birthday in a few weeks time, so have just been trying it out.
For this challenge I decided to use a Tilda stamp coloured in distressed inks. I cut her out using my large plain Nestabilitie. The backing papers I used were from the Dovecraft Winter Wonderland paper pack. The flower gems were in a gift of friendship from Vicky. The white flowers I used were from poppicrafts as were the blue brads. The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards and the ribbon is from my stash.
Couldn't believe it but I won some candy from franmade.blogspot.com. I have the first choice of 2 Whiff of Joy stamps but I won't reveal which one I have chosen till I receive it and make a card with it.
For this weeks sketch I used backing papers from Pink Petticoat doodle-icious Christmas rainbow collection. I cut out a scolloped oval using my oval Nestability from Sissix card stock and mounted a stamped image of Tilda coloured in distressed inks. For the sentiment I used some card from my stash and placed a rub on from Imaginisce. The snowflakes are from Craftime.
I absolutely love the Tilda stamps so I have encorporated this one with a Holly Leaf bench and heart ornament and coloured them with my distressed inks which are my favourite too. The plain pink backing paper was from my stash and the other backing papers are from DCWV Christmas Multistack Rose Tinted Christmas. The sentiment I used is from Craftwork Cards which I edged with Versa Magic chalk ink Pink Petunia. I mounted the stamped images and sentiment with sticky pads.

The snowflakes were cut out using a mini snowflake punch, the ribbon is from stash and the sentiment edged in green ink is from craftworkcards.co.uk.
What a lovely give away! Never done a challenge on this blog before so hope this will do for my 1st try. I used backing papers from Pink Petticoat doodle-icious! Christmas & its rainbow cd's, image also from the same cd, ribbon from my stash, snowflakes cut out with Cuttlebug die cut on my Sissix machine and highlighted with crystal Twinkles Writer.
Whilst just browsing Google today I came across a Yahoo Group forum in America which bases its entire imaging on Tilda stamps only - MAGNOLIAemail@example.com. So I thought I would have a go at the first weeks sketch so this is what I came up with. I coloured in Tilda with Sledge using my distressed inks which are my favourite at the moment and used Craft Twinkles Writer for the glittery effects. The backing papers are Dovecraft Winter Wonderland, the snowflakes are Craftime, flowers Handmade Art, sentiment is Express Yourself DIY and the ribbon is from my stash.
This stamp is my latest investment and I absolutely love her. I coloured the Whiff of Joy - Lizzie with Muff once again with my distressed ink. Think if I can keep using these I will hopefully get better as prefer them to the promarkers. I cut her out with my oval nestabilities on my sissix machine and mounted it with sticky pads onto Dovecraft Winter Wonderland backing paper. I cut some snowflakes out of sissix cardstock using a cuttlebug die and used Craft Twinkles glitter paint crystal to give them a sparkle effect. Sentiment is from craftworkcards.co.uk which I found at the Hobbycraft Show NEC last Saturday. I used a blue ink pad to edge both the stamped image and sentiment. Blue ribbon is from my stash.

It was great to receive a Whiff of Joy stamped image amongst some blog candy I won so what better than to have a go at this challenge being my first! I used watercolours and glitterglue to colour in the image and distressed around the edge of the image card with green ink. I used backing papers from DCWV Christmas multistack Christmas Wishes. The gold embellishments from my stash. The green embellishments from the same blog candy I won.
For this challenge been as though we should all be getting in the festive mood I used red, green and gold as my 3 colours. I used a Magnolia Tilda with Lantern stamped image coloured in watercolours and crayola glitterglue. Backing papers from Paper Cellar Ltd. Ribbon is Anita's, flowers from Prima and brads were from Poppicrafts.
For this card I used backing papers from the Christmas multistack by DCWV Christmas Wishes, Rachelle Anne Miller stamp coloured with watercolours and cut out using square nestibilities. I finished off using a sentiment from Eno Craft.
This is the candy I won on the Crafty Creations (formerly SBS18 challenge) blogspot. I am so thrilled as there are many stamped images I will love using. The card that came with it I absolutely love. I have only been using stamped images on cards for the last few months so it just shows the more stamped image cards you post and enter into blog candy's the sooner you will have a chance of winning - just like I did.
I really love my Magnolia Tilda images so couldn't resist this one for this challenge. I used Tilda with Dalecarlia Coat coloured in watercolours, backing papers from Crafts House Winter Wonderland paper pack, flowers from Prima Daisy Crazy Collection and Papermania, sentiment Make It Yourself range placed on backing card from stash, glitter on flowers stash and ribbon stash.
Oh my god couldn't believe it when I won some blog candy from MichelleO one of the DT members who design for MagnoliaV'sStampavie blog. I'm really looking forward in receiving the blog candy as I'm really getting into the stamping now.
I also created this birthday card for some friends' of ours whose daughter was 21 last week. When we took it around to her Sunday she was really thrilled with it and said that she would keep it as a memento of her birthday. Also she was one of my 'little' bridesmaids along with 5 others when I got married in June 2000. Not so little now -how time flies by!
I used backing papers from Basic Grey Sultry paper pack, lace kindly given to me in a Gift of Friendship from Vicky(Angeldrummer), flower - Pollycraft, brad - Papermania Metallics Basics, Image Rachelle Anne Miller Lily Magic Fairy coloured in watercolours and Crayola glitterglue, flower brad - stash.
I was busy making this Christmas card for my brother-in-law and sister-in-law who live in the hot and sunny Bahamas when it suddenly came to me that I was using an oval shape so thought straight away by coincidence I could enter it into this challenge. I used the following:-

Backing paper Sissix Bigz embossed with Sissix Christmas embosser plate and a piece from scrapbook paper called Snowy Jo from Imaginisce.
Embellishment cut out of Sissix cardstock with Sissix die Scribbles Swirls.

I have decided to post a link to DT member MichelleO at donkeysmiles.blogspot.com.
Good luck to everyone who takes part in the challenges and the candy.
Thought I might have a go at this one as with a friend of mine who was given the all clear from breast cancer, but is suffering after-effects e.g. aching bones, anxiety, sleepless nights and is also celebrating a birthday on 26th October. After she had finished all her treatment a year and a half ago she has done some charity functions - charity night and walked the Westhighland Way, Scotland. So to me she is proof that if you can overcome an illness as severe as this you can hopefully carry on the best with life afterwards. Hope this card will help cheer her up even though she has these after-effects and hope this will remind her what a tower of strength she is to others.
I have received this lovely Gift of Friendship from Vicky. In return I will pass on a little Gift of Friendship of my own to the first 3 replies to this post. Remember to email your addresses to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Remember once you receive your to offer this Gift of Friendship to 3 others on your blog.
This is the first image I have coloured in using mainly promarkers except for the detail on the hat where I used a watercolour pencil as the lines where so close together. I also used faux stitching around the edge as well as the following:-
I found this logo on Vicky's blog. As a friend of mine 3 years ago was diagnosed with this and an Auntie who had it and now has bowel cancer, and my nan who had it which has now spread to her lungs it is close to my heart too. So come on girls 'Please Pass the Pink Penguin!' on.
I have made this card on behalf of my 3 year old daughter to give to her great-grandma. Its her birthday 9th October and as she has been my inspiration to start making cards thought she'd like to see what I can do. My nan has been making cards for quite a few years now but due to having several serious illnesses and old age they have prevented her from making any more. So Happy Birthday Nan xxx
Backing paper - Basic Grey Sultry paper and Laura Ashley contemporary
Flower design - Sissix Wild Flowers by Bfrenda Pinnick
Here I have used a single fold card and cut 2.5cm from the front side. I covered the front and the inside of the back of card where it is showing with snowflakes paper from the Forever Friends 6"x6" Christmas Snow paper pack. For the decorative border on the front I cut down half a stars border and stuck down the edge and a complet stars border on the inside of the back card where the join is. I used a Merry Christmas peel off. I used a Forever Friends stamp from the Christmas stamps set and coloured in using watercolour pencils.
This card was made from white card stock with fancy edging. I used heart paper from the Forever Friends With Love 6"x6" paper pack, a silver piece of card from stash mounted on top of pink torn to size Papermania mulberry paper. To finish the card I used a stamped image from the Forever Friends collection called Single Rose which was coloured in using watercolour pencils. I finished off with a Happy Anniversary rub on from The Royalbrush Co.
