VISIT TO BLISTS HILL, TELFORD, SHROPSHIRE

On Saturday 19th December we went to a lovely place in Shropshire called Blists Hill which is a Victorian Village Museum and as it was Christmas they were celebrating a traditional Victorian Christmas.  It was cold and frosty but we had a thoroughly enjoyable time.  They even had fake snow blasting out from one of the houses.  The people who worked there were in their traditional Victorian Costumes even down to a man dressed as Scrooge (even looked like him a bit lol).  We listened to a small choir carol singing around a small organ and paid a special visit to Santa.  My daughter really enjoyed herself and got into the Christmas spirit.

If you live in the UK and want somewhere to visit I would truely recommend this place very much.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all.

I used my Penny Black Royal Mail stamp, coloured it in with copics, used polar white Flowersoft for the snow effect and cut out with my scalloped circle nestie. For the backing paper I used my Sissix snowflakes embossing plate on some white shimmer card from my stash. The flowers are Imaginisce, the ribbon is from Craft Creations and the adhesive gem stones are from Hobbycraft.

SUGARBOWLCHALLENGE 22 - Kathy's sketch Please Include Lace

I really enjoyed doing this sketch. I used one of my latest stamp additions called Winter Wonderland, coloured in with copics, added some Flowersoft for the fur trim and snow and then cut out with my curved rectangle nestie. The patterned dp is SU Ski Slope and the plain card is from my stash. The silver lace I received in a RAK from Linda, the flowers are from Kaisercraft and the brads are from my stash.
