As I have only been making cards since Easter 2008 my stamp collection isn't that old but this was my first stamp I ever bought from CraftsuLove and I remember I kept emailing them as wasn't sure how to mount the stamp or even colour it in!! The stamp is from the Rachelle Anne Miller collection Ladybug and Friends called Flowergirl which I coloured in with distressed inks. I mounted it on a larger pink card from Crafters Companion and cut the edge with my new Fiskars circular border punch called Daisy Chain. The backing paper is K & Co Sparkly Sweet Designer Paper. The one piece I cut either side with my Fiskars straight border punch called Flowers. The gems were free with a magazine, the flowers are Prima Daisy Crazy - Lily and the brads are Papermania pinks.

This is my card for this challenge. I used backing paper from Forever Friends paper pack With Love. The red heart is cut out from card from my stash with my heart nestabilities and embossed with Sissix Texturz hearts. The rubber stamp is also Forever Friends and coloured with distressed ink. I have used ribbon from Celebration and the gem hearts are Craft for Creations. To add the 'X' on the card I used a rubber stamp from Penny Black called Kisses. I edged both this and the stamped image with Lipstick Red ColourBox fluid chalk inkpad.

Whilst at work last night I started to feel really rough - aching back like I'd been punched 20,000 times and a splitting headache and felt even worse when my 4 year old woke me up at 8am! When the above package came through the door I was really cheered up. All this is due to Emma at Something Sweet sending me some Stampin' up goodies along with a catalogue which I won in her latest Blog Candy. I've browsed through the catalogue and must admit I will be spending some money in it! The card has some examples of what they do.
Thanks again Emma and hope you look forward to receiving my order sometime next week.
For this challenge I used a stamped image given to me by my friend Vicky (angeldrummer) called Summer Icecream and coloured it in using distressed inks. The three backing papers I used are K & Company Sparkly Sweet. The three flowers are Prima from CuddlyBuddly, the brads are Papermania Pearl Brads and the three gems were free with a craft magazine.

This is the first time I have ever done a wallet card so for this challenge I used Cross-stitch Tilda coloured with distressed ink and mounted her with sticky pads. The backing paper is Papermania Scrumptious pack. The large pink heart was cut from pink card from my stash and pink blending chalk rubbed around it and the dark pink heart was also from card from my stash which I used my Sissix Heart Texturz plate and cut out both with my heart Nestibilities. For the ribbon I used 2 sorts white with red hearts and plain dark pink which are both from the Celebration range. The flower is from Poppicrafts' Blooms to Go - Polka! The heart diamond brad is from Club Green.
The inside of the card I used another piece of backing paper from Papermania Scrumptious Paper Pack and attached a pink heart and dark pink heart cut out and embossed as for the front of the card. I stuck the large pink heart using double sided tape and for the dark pink heart I used sticky pads.

Thought I would have a go at this challenge. I had some stamped images of a discontinued Penny Black stamp given to me by Debbie over at passionforcrafts.blogspot.com and coloured it in using watercolour pencils and the dress and heart in blendable chalks. The backing papers are from the Papermania paper pack called Scrumptious. The sentiment is from the Hero Arts Clear Stamp collection called Hugs n Hearts. I mounted the stamped image and sentiment using foam pads.
Can't believe I've won a surprise goodie bag over on Something Sweet. My thanks goes to Emma who at the time only had 1 lot of candy to give away but due to the over whelming comments she had Emma decided to offer 4 other lucky people a surprise goodie bag each. I will post a photo of what I receive in due course. I'm so excited and pleased.

Are you in the need for cheering up? Have you got the winter blues? Well how about this for an idea which was started by Vicky over at angeldrummer.blogspot.com. All you need to do is the following:-
1) It needs to be sent to a blogging friend who is down and needs cheering up.
2) The package needs to contain items to make a card i.e backing papers, flowers, ribbon, a cropped mounted image, anything you like etc.
3) The person then makes a card using this and sends it with a similar package to one of their friends who is feeling down etc.
4) Add a picture of the card to you blog once its made.
I will limit mine to the first 6 people who make a comment on this then I will close this post on the 19th January and arrange for their details to be sent to me.

Can't believe I'm actually on a roll making cards this week. This is my attempt at this weeks challenge over at Whiff of Joy. I've used my new stamp from the Party Animals collection Henry Celebrating Mouse and coloured him in with distressed inks. The backing papers are from my stash as not sure which paper pack they are from. The ribbon also is from my stash. The flowers are from Lakeland and were my first ever purchase of die cut flowers. I used 4 pearl gems which were free with a magazine some time ago as is the sentiment.
This is one of my very first personally owned Sugar Nellie stamps called Reflective. I have coloured her in using distressed ink which is my favourite at the moment. The patterned papers are from Papermania Scrumptious paper pack and the plain pink papers are K & Company Recycled Remake Berry Pinks Mat Pad. The sentiment is from Hero Arts Anytime Messages.

First of all I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and will have a very happy New Year 2009.
This is my first attempt at this blog challenge as well as my first challenge of the new year. I love using Tilda stamps and coloured this image in using distressed inks. I also used blue backing papers from the new Laura Ashley Love Song paper pack and the red paper is from my stash. The flowers are (I think) from Cuddly Buddly and the silver gems are from some blog candy I won. As I have joined the Magnolia-icious yahoo group this card will be going out to 1 member who is to be rained on this month.
