ABC CHALLENGE - L is for List

For this challenge the idea is to use 1 ribbon, 3 flowers and 6 brads.

I used one of my Magnolia stamped images from the Chasing Butterflies stamp collection, coloured her in with promarkers and cut her out with my curved rectangle nestie.  I fixed her onto leaf backing paper also cut using the same nestie set which was from Pocket Full of Poses paper stack with 3 flower brads then mounted with 3mm sticky pads.  The flower backing paper is also from the same paper stack.  The flowers are from Imaginisce, the large brads are Papermania Designer and the ribbon was from a RAK I received.

PAPERTAKE WEEKLY CHALLENGE DAWNY'S SKETCH 13

I couldn't wait to ink up my new Gorjuss Girl set 2 stamps and thought I would use one for this challenge.  This is only the second time I have used red and black together.

I used one of the girls sitting down, stamped her up with my Memento Ink sent to me by a very nice lady in the US and coloured her in using my promarkers.  I then cut her out using an oval nestie kindly lent to me by Vicky and placed her on a scalloped oval of my own using paper from my stash.  The black polka dot card is from Silly Monkeys.  I used backing paper from Kanban.  The sentiment I used is from the Magnolia Chasing Butterflies collection which I stamped on another scalloped oval with paper from my stash.  The flowers are Prima and the brads are from Poppycrafts.

STAMPAVIE CHALLENGE 2 - Pink & Brown (& Green if you wish)

I couldn't wait to do this second challenge as I had ordered some of the new Rachelle Anne Miller stamps.  This stamp is called Candy Time and I coloured the image in with distressed inks.  For the flower centres I used some Tim Holtz Distress Stickles called Worn Lipstick.  I then cut the image out using the largest size in my small label nestie set.

The backing paper was in a pack called Scrummy Yummy Papers which I picked up at the NEC Hobbycraft Show in March from CraftworkCards.co.uk as were the flowers which are called Dotty Daisies and the flower centres called Iced Gems.  I stuck all these on using sticky pads.

The flower charm I also picked up from the show from MeiFlower.  The pearl gems I had free with a craft magazine and the ribbon was sent to me from a friend in the US.

SKETCH SATURDAY CHALLENGE - Sketch 46

After a lovely Easter Weekend break down in Exmouth with my DH, daughter, mom and dad I wondered when I would make my first card since being back.

Well what lovely weather we are having today compared with this morning when it went really dark and we had a thunderstorm!  Well as it did brighten up I thought about doing something summery for this sketch.

I used backing papers from Fiskars and DCWV Spring Glitter stack.  I used a Magnolia Tilda with Tulips stamped image and coloured her in with promarkers.  The flowers I had in a RAK from Linda which I used gold glitter glue for the centres as they are really tiny for brads, the flower gems are Papermania and the sentiment is a rub on from Footprint Creations.

EASTER BONNET PARADE/DRESS UP DAY

Thought I would post some pictures of my 4 year old daughter Seren in her Easter bonnet for nursery which I decorated and the dressing up outfit she wore.  Its a genuine Spanish dress her Grandad who lives in Spain bought for her.  She also has red and black spot shoes but typical 4 year old didn't want them on for the picture!
