What a lovely day it is now after having a heavy downpour of rain yet again and now it has turned out really pleasant. This weeks challenge using promarkers is to follow a great sketch by Maria using Pastel Pink and Cool Aqua.

I used 2 of my new stamps out the new Magnolia Summer Kit and masked them and cut out with my circular nesties. The pink dp is from Nana's Nursery Girl paper stack which is also what the sentiment is stamped on, the blue paper used for the scalloped edge and the sentiment background is embossed polka dot card from Silly Monkey's and the white spot dp is from Stampin' Up Summer Picnic paper set. The sentiment is also from Stampin' Up from the Oval All set and is cut out using my scalloped oval and plain oval punch also from Stampin' Up.

The flowers I have mounted up using a flower spacer all from RAK's I have received as was the ribbon and the dew drops. The pearl pink brad is Papermania.

DT CALL - Creatalicious Challenges Blog

What a great new challenge blog I found and they are after a couple of DT members for 6 months so thought I would have a go by following the sketch they have created.

I have used one of the new Manga Kids stamped images, coloured them with my copics, cut out using my curved rectangle Nesties and mounted with sticky pads. I also cut out some dp paper with the same Nestie set. Both dp is Deena's Penny Lane from My Mind's Eye. The light pink dp is called Tiny Dancer "Chasse" Graceful Circles Paper and the flower dp is called Tiny Dancer "Plie"Dancing Daisies Paper.

All the flowers I have used are from various RAK's I have received which I have stacked myself, the brads are K&Co Beyond Postmarks and the charm used was from my crafting stash my late Nan left me.

JUST MAGNOLIA WEEK 15 - sketch by Tab

I haven't done a Just Magnolia challenge for a while so whilst my 4 year old daughter has been bribed (lol) to watch a DVD I have had chance to make a card for this challenge.

I have used a Tilda holding a rose - one of my favourite images and coloured her in using my copics, cut out with my Labels Four Nesties and mounted using sticky pads.

For the dp I have used sheets from the Paprmania Signature A5 Paper Pack called Blueberry Hill as its based on roses and thought would complement the image well. The sentiment is from Personal Impressions and has been cut out with the same Nestie set. The ribbon I had sent to me in a RAK. The small pink flowers were from my local garden centre called Gardenlands, the large flower is from Hobbycraft and is usually used for flower arranging which I added my own brad which is from my stash.

What a fabulous sketch to create. I used an image from the Gorjuss Girls 2 set and coloured her in with copics and cut out with my Labels 1 Nestie and stuck with sticky pads. For the dp I used paper from DCWV Nana's Nursery Baby Girl stack which I totally adore. I also used the smaller shape from the the same Nestie set and cut the shape out of the same dp. The brads and ribbon I received in a RAK and the flower is made up from my stash.

aspoonfullofsugar- challenge 60 - SKETCH BY DEBBIE

I really enjoyed putting this sketch together.  I used one of the new Magnolia stamps from the long awaited Summer Kit and coloured her in with copics then cut out with my nesties.  The small flowers with leaves were also from the same kit which I cut out and used sticky pads to give some depth.

The papers are from the new My Mind's Eye Bloom & Grow cardstock pack.  The flower dp has the green leaf print on the reverse and the striped dp is just single sided.  The main flower is made up of a selection from my stash and the brad is from Creative Imaginations.  Both the charm and the sticky gems were from my late nan's craft stash which has been given to me.

What a fantastic challenge to do and with my 4 year old daughter finishing nursery to start Reception in September I couldn't miss this challenge.

I used an Anya stamp Teacher with Apple and coloured her in with copics.  I followed a sketch from Sketch Saturday challenge 58.  I used papers from Stampin' up, ribbon and button from my stash, brads from Papermania, flowers from Prima.  I printed the sentiment on my computer.  The template for the bag I used from Papertrey.

For this sketch I used one of my Gorjuss Girls from collection 1 and coloured her in with copics, cut out with my square nesties and shaped the corners with my X-cut corner trimmer.  I then mounted with sticky pads with another square cut out the same from paper from my stash.  The other dp are from Stampin' Up.  The sentiment is from Magnolia which I also used my crop-o-dile to punch in the yellow eyelets and ribbon from my stash.  The sticky gems were part of some crafting stash off my nan who passed away Monday last week and whose funeral is tomorrow (Wednesday).

SKETCH SATURDAY SKETCH 58- Red, White and Blue or Stars and Stripes

As I didn't have any papers with stars and stripes to incorporate the colours I just used red, white and blue papers.  I used a new stamped image from the Gorjuss Girls 3 collection and coloured her in with copics, which I did on white card, cut out with my rectangle nesties and mounted with sticky pads.

The red paper is from DCWV Spring Glitter Stack, the blue paper is called Boogieboard Stitches from  The buttons are from Stampin' Up, the ribbons are from my stash, the flowers are Prima, the brads are Making Memories and the sentiment is Girly Curly Sentiments from Pink Petticoat.

Its a very sad day for me today as my 85 year old Grandmother passed away in her sleep in the early hours of this morning.  She was the person who inspired me to start card making and one of the first posts on my blog was a birthday card for her last year.  So I chose this lovely new image from the Gorjuss Girls 3 collection as it shows a star and that is how I will think of my nan - a bright shining star!

I coloured the image in copics and used gold glitter glue on the stars and purple glitter glue for the dots on the dress.  I then cut her out with my nesties labels 4 and mounted with sticky pads.  The patterned papers are both from Pocket full of Poses paper stack, the silver mirror card and the plain purple card are both from my stash. The flower is Prima Daisy Dreams which I also added some purple glitter glue.  The gems are Papermania and the sentiment is Anita's.

Another great sketch for this challenge.  I used a Diana Duda stamped image called Curtsy sent to me in a RAK and coloured her in with distressed inks and added pink stickles to her shoes and tights.

The dot paper is from DCWV Spring Stack and the plain pink card is from my stash. The flowers are a mixture from Prima and Imaginisce and the brad is from a Making Memories In Bloom set.  The sentiment I have used is from Magnolia.
