I found this great challenge blog for even more sketch challenges and so this is my take on this weeks sketch over on Sweet Sketch Wednesday.
I used one of my new Sugar Nellie Manga Kid stamps called Dreamy, coloured her in with copics and cut out with my circular nestie. The backing card is from SU Soft Subtles cardstock called Certainly Celery which I used my scallop circle nestie. The pink card is also from the same SU cardstock which I used my Martha Stewart Floral Lace punch. The dp is the same reversable sheet from SU Designer Sheet Paper called Tea Party. The sentiment is from SU Wow Flowers and stamped onto an oval and scallop oval cut out with my SU punches. The pink adhesive gems are from Hobbycraft.

Over on Sweet Stampin Challenge we have a great challenge using scallops which can be done with punches or nesties etc.
The image I have used is one of my Anya images coloured in with copics, cut out with my square nestie and mounted onto a scalloped square cut out of Bashful Blue Cardstock with my scalloped square nestie. The dp is from DCWV Blossoms and Butterflies stack and the ribbon is from my stash. The flowers are Prima and the brads are also from my stash. I used a plain oval and a scalloped oval punch for the sentiment.

Can't believe its not long now till Valentines Day the days seem to be sailing past! I used two of my new Magnolia Winter Kit stamps which I masked together, coloured in with copics and cut out with my heart shaped nestie. The heart dp is from Making Memories Love Notes called Stitched Heart and the script dp is Making Memories Love Notes Sampler. The backing card is from SU Earth Elements cardstock called Ruby Red. The ribbon I had sent to me in a RAK from USA, the roses are from wildorchidcrafts based in the UK , the sentiment is a Rub On also from Making Memories Love Notes range and the little hearts are adhesive gem stones from Hobbycraft.
Well I have been trying to make a Christmas card each week but this is only my second this year! I always go into panic mode nearer the time so have promised myself that I would gradually make Christmas cards throughout the year. Loved the theme over on
ABC Christmas Challenge Blog and also as the challenge blog has split into two there are some new DT members required so this is my entry.
I used my Sitting Tilda with Candy sitting on Wrapped Presents which I masked and used my Stampin Up Stamp-a-ma-jig to align them up properly. This gadget is a god send! I then coloured it in with copics and rose coloured glitter. The candy cane paper is from DCWV Rose Tinted Christmas and the pink backing card is called Regal Rose from SU Rich Regals cardstock.
The sentiment is from craftworkcards.co.uk which is mounted onto black cardstock cut out with my Woodcare circular punch. The snowflakes are cut out of the same Regal Rose cardstock using my Martha Stewart punch and the adhesive pink gems are from Hobbycraft.

A lovely sketch to follow over on Just Magnolia. I used Tilda with Flowers, coloured her in with copics and cut out with my Labels 8 nestie. The dp is from SU Delicate Dots Designer Series which is mounted onto SU So Saffron Rich Regals cardstock. I used my Martha Stewart Floral Lace punch. The roses are all from wildorchidcrafts and the large flower is from my stash which I added blue adhesive gemstones to from Papermania. The sentiment is is from Hero Arts Anytime Messages.

What a lovely challenge over on Whiff of Joy this week. You have a choice of the following to follow:-
1. 4 patterned papers, 3 bling, 2 flowers or
2. 3 patterned papers, 2 bling, 1 flower
I chose to do the 2nd one and this is what I came up with. I used my Melinda blowing Kisses, coloured her in with copics and crystal Glamour Dust on her wings, cut out with my Labels 8 nestie and mounted with sticky pads. The dp I have used is all from the same Making Memories Love Notes collection. The floral one is called Lace Love Notes, the script one is called Sampler Love Notes and the small pink hearts is called Patterned Heart Love Notes. I also used plain backing card called Regal Rose from the Rich Regals card stock pack.
The ribbon called Celebrate It from the USA was sent to me in a RAK, the hearts are from Club Green, the rose is from wildorchidcrafts, the charm is from my stash and the leaves were cut out of pastel shimmer card with my L-Em punch.

We have a fab sketch for you to follow over on Sweet Stampin Challenge. I have used one of my new stamps I won on Sugar Nellie just before Christmas on their 12 days of Christmas called Erin and have coloured her in with copics and mounted onto cardstock. The flower is Daisy Dreams.

Well I couldn't miss out creating yet another entry into the Whiff of Joy Guest Designer call and as its one of my daughter's school friends birthday on Sunday couldn't resist another entry! Head along to Katharina's blog to find out how you to could become a Guest Designer for 2 months.
I used my Princess Charlotte stamp, coloured her in with copics and crystal Glamour Dust, cut out edging with my Martha Stewart punch and mounted onto Regal Rose cardstock from SU Rich Regals cardstock pack. For the dp I used SU Sweet Always Designer Paper Series and used my Martha Stewart scallop edge punch for detail. The crochet flowers I received in a birthday RAK which I used a Whiff of Joy bead cap in the centre of the large flower and finished off with a pearl brad from my stash. The ribbon is also from my stash. The sentiment is from Whiff of Joy Fairy Sayings which is stamped onto a small chipboard label and distressed with Worn Lipstick distressed ink.
This call ends on Saturday 23rd January.

Over on Whiff of Joy Katharina's blog she is looking for 1-3 Guest Designers for 2 months at a time for the Whiff of Joy blog. This first call is open until January 23rd. There are some great perks to receive if you get to be chosen which are detailed along with what is expected on Katharina's blog.
For this first Guest Design Team call there is a sketch to follow. This is my take on it:-
I used one of my latest purchases from Whiff of Joy Confirmand Melinda which I coloured in with copics and added Crystal Glamour Dust to her wings. I then cut out and mounted onto cream Bazzill cardstock. The blue backing card is from SU Earth Elements cardstock called Not Quite Navy. The dp I have used is all from the same SU Designer Series Paper called Bella Bleu. I used my SU eyelet border edge punch for the fancy trim and finished off with lace from my stash. The blue circle was cut out with my circular nestie.
The blue rose is from Hobbycraft and the white roses are from wildorchidcrafts which i finished off with white pearl spray. The adhesive pearls are also from Hobbycraft and the sentiment is cut out of cream Bazzill cardstock and is from Whiff of Joy.

What a mouthwatering challenge we have for you over on the Sweet Stampin Challenge blog. The challenge this week is to show fruit somewhere on your creation.
I used dp from SU called Summer Picnic which I mounted onto red Bazzill cardstock. The blue and red scalloped Bazzill cardstock are punched out using my scallop edge punch also from SU. I love this image of Cherry Tilda and think she compliments nicely with the dp. I coloured her in with copics and cut out with my Labels Two nestie and mounted onto red Bazzill cardstock also cut out with the same nestie.

Well its nice to see that the snow is now thawing out quite quickly and at last can see grass in my back garden! Yesterday I booked a flight out to Spain with Steve and Seren to see his
dad who lives out there during the school Easter holidays. Hopefully there will be sunshine!
I loved following the sketch over on Truly Scrumptious. I used one of my new Magnolia Tilda images from the Magnolia Winter Kit, coloured her in with copics , cut out with my circular nestie and mounted onto black card also cut out with my circular nestie. I can't wait for the additional stamps to become available as these are adorable so far.
The dp is the same reversable sheet from DCWV Spring Glitter Stack which I also mounted onto black card. The sentiment is from a set of four from Cuddly Buddly which I cut out with my SU 1" circle punch and mounted onto a black circle cut out with my circular nestie. All the flowers are from Prima Daisy Dreams of which the pink one is called Ballet and the green ones are Keylime.

I can't believe it hasn't stopped snowing/sleeting so far today. Have been constantly listening to the local radion station to see if my daughter's school is shutting but don't think it will be. They have been pretty good keeping the school open considering the weather we have had the last week, and a few surrounding schools have shut!
What a good excuse to get a few creations done! I loved doing this weeks sketch. I used SU Rose Red backing card and my new Papermania Forever Friends Pink Parfait paper pack for the dp. This image is Henry Mouse from Whiff of Joy and is coloured in with copics. I used my Martha Stewart Floral Lace punch for the fancy edging and ribbon from my stash. The sentiment is a free download from my friend Emma.

My 'something new' is my Sugar Nellie Stamp called Sugar and Spice (I think its adorable). I coloured her in with my copics and cut out with my square nestie.
The striped dp is Making Memories Love Notes double sided sheet called Words and the flower dp is Making Memories Love Notes called Love Birds. I used pink Bazzil card stock for the backing card. The ribbon was from my stash as was the glitter button hearts which I had left over from last year.

I loved doing this challenge for the first one of 2010 for Magnolia Down Under but also combined it with the sketch over on Sketch Saturday. The image I have used to make this birthday card is Christmas Party Tilda from the So Jolly Under the Mistletoe set of stamps. I coloured her in using copics and cut out with my Labels Four Nestie and edged with Worn Lipstick Distressed Ink.
The dp I have used is from SU called Raspberry Tart and is mounted onto SU Bold Brights cardstock called Pink Passion. The cardstock used for the scalloped edging cut out with my Martha Stewart half daisy edge punch is from SU Soft Subtles called Certainly Celery. The ribbon I received in the December Scrapbook Kit from Scrapagogo. The sentiment I have used was a free download from my friend Emma which I cut out with my plain oval punch and mounted onto a scalloped oval cut out with my SU punches. The flowers are from wildorchidcrafts.

Well after all the snow we have had what a useful way to get most of it up of the lawn! My husband Steve took my 5 year old daughter Seren into the garden with Timmy our dog to build a snowman and this is what they built. Thought it was lovely as we haven't got around to taking the outside Christmas decorations down yet so we put them on just for the photo.

Glad it seems to be melting here as its a sign its getting warmer!

This is my first creation for 2010 and really enjoyed making it. It is my best friend's birthday in a few weeks and as soon as I saw this stamp I knew I had to use it for her card. The challenge this week is a colour combination of the following which you can use 3 of the colours:-
The stamp is from the new Magnolia winter kit which I coloured in with copics, added silver glamour dust to the wings and cut out with my labels one Nestability. The flowers I received in two different Rak's and have used a spacer, brad and charm from my stash. The lilac dew drops are also from my stash.

What a lovely colour challenge this week to follow which is to use aqua and red. I have used an image stamped for me in a Rak from Vicky, coloured her in with copics and crystal glamour dust on the wings and cut out with my circular nestie.
The red backing card is from SU Bold Brights cardstock called Real Red. The aqua dp is from My Mind's Eye Deena's Penny Lane called Free Bird "Passion"Robin's Eggs Paper. The ribbon is from Hobbycraft. The large rose is from Prima Trellis Roses Fontaine and the red roses are from wildorchidcrafts which I have dipped into glamour dust for a shimmer effect. The leaves are cut out using my L-Em punch and dusted also with the same glamour dust. The adhesive gems are from The Snowman crystals range.

What a fab new challenge blog which has been created to make Christmas cards ready for the next one. I'm sure many of us just like me always seem to have to rush making these cards!
The first challenge is make a card to do with angels so I have used one of my Sugar Nellie stamps called Angel Wishes. I have coloured it in with copics, light blue glitter, crystal Glamour Dust and silver glitter glue for the wand. I then cut it out with my curved rectangular nestie. The blue card is from SU called Tempting Turquoise which I have used my Spellbinders Impressabilities called Snowflake on then also cut out with my curved rectangular nestie. The dp from Ladybug and Friends is called Wonderland and is mounted onto shimmer light blue card from my stash. The ribbon is from my stash, felt snowflakes from m.i.y range and the blue adhesive gems are from Papermania.

This weeks challenge over on Sweet Stampin is called Family First. This is to make a card for a member of your family. It is quite appropriate that my daughter Seren will be celebrating her 5th birthday on New Years' Day so I have made her the above card.
The image I used is Princess Charlotte from Whiff of Joy which is coloured in with copics and white Glamour dust for detail. The cardstock is from SU called Cameo Coral and the dp used is from DCWV Nana's Nursery Baby Girl paper pack. I used my SU eyelet border punch on the centre strip. The ribbon I bought from Hobbycraft. The sentiment is generated on my computer, mounted onto dp cut out with my SU scallop oval punch. The number 5 is a Flocked sticker from Footprint Creations.
