SWEET STAMPIN CHALLENGE 15 DT CARD - sketch




This week over on Sweet Stampin Challenge we have a lovely sketch to follow.  I have used one of my latest Whiff of Joy Stamps called Charlotte with Large Letter, coloured her in with copics and cut out with my square Nestabilitie.  The ribbon is from my stash.  Roses are both from wildorchidcrafts.


The Stampin Up products I have used are:-


Certainly Celery cardstock - Soft Subtles cardstock pack
So Saffron cardstock - Rich Regals cardstock pack
Tea Party Designer Series Paper
Sentiment from Oval All stamp set
Oval and scallop oval punch

JUST MAGNOLIA WEEK 43 - sketch



What a lovely sketch by JayJay to follow over on Just Magnolia this week.  I used Tilda sitting in Hat, coloured her in with copics and paper pieced her dress in the same dp I have used for the background.  I cut her out with my scalloped nestie and mounted onto bazzill cardstock also cut out with my scallop nestie.


The dp I have used I purchased this week is by K & Co called Daisy Pad.  The yellow backing card is Bazzill.   I used my Martha Stewart Floral Lace punch for the fancy edging.  The large flowers are from Papermania and the smaller flowers are called Scrap Pack.  I used a Magnolia sentiment stamped onto the same background dp cut out with my Spellbinders Ribbon Tags Trio and threaded ribbon from my stash.  The gems are from Crafty Bitz.

ABC CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE - E is for Elf - DT card



The challenge this fortnight over on ABC Christmas Challenge is E is for Elf with added red and green and is sponsored by Lacey Stamp and Create.


I received this elf  image called Wee with Christmas Tree illustrated by N. Fickel, coloured it in with copics and cut out with my long rectangle Nestie.  The green backing card is called Glorious Green and the red backing card is called Real Red both from Stampin' Up Bold Brights cardstock pack.  The dp I'm not sure what it is called as these were odd sheets in my stash.  The green ribbon is also from my stash which is threaded through my Marianne Design Creatables Die using Real Red cardstock.  The gems are Papermania and the sentiment is from craftworkcards.co.uk mounted onto a red oval cut out with my SU oval punch.


Even though this is only my second creation for the DT I'm really enjoying myself and getting to know all the rest of the lovely DT.

SWEET TILDA


I have managed to make this card whilst my 5 year old daughter Seren is asleep as she is just getting over a sickness bug which started Sunday.  Hopefully tomorrow she will be back at school providing she has managed to eat some food and not been sick again!


I have used sketch 90 over on Friday Sketchers and incorporated it with the challenge over on Magnolia Down Under which is an easel card challenge 34.


The image I have used is called Sweet Tilda from Raising the Ceiling and Right Through My Heart collection.  I coloured her in with copics and cut out with my Labels 8 Nestabilitie.  I then edged with light blue chalk.  The dp I have used is from Forever Friends Pink Parfait and the backing is light blue and medium pink Bazzill cardstock.  The ribbon is from my stash, adhesive gems from Papermania and flower is Prima Daisy Dreams.  The sentiment is from Personal Impressions and is cut out with my Ribbon Tag Trio from Spellbinders Shapeabilities.

SWEET STAMPIN CHALLENGE 14 - New Beginnings DT Card


This is my DT card for this weeks theme of New beginnings over on Sweet Stampin Challenge Blog which can be anything from New Baby, New Job to New House so anything which represents a new start in life.


I chose an image which was sent to me in a RAK from my friend Wynneth which I think is from Sugar Nellie, coloured her in with copics and cut out with my square Nestie.  The ribbon is from my stash and the pink adhesive gems are from Hobbycraft.  The sentiment which I cut out with my SU oval punch was a free download some time ago from our very own Emma.


My SU products used are Rose Red backing card from Rich Regals cardstock pack and dp from Sweet Always Designer Paper Series.  


Don't forget you don't have to use Stampin' Up products but if you do you get another chance of winning our monthly prize.

1ST DT CARD FOR ABC CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE BLOG - D is for Decorations with added ribbon



Well it was typical that as I was originally posting this post we had a powercut just as it was going dark but luckily it has just come back on so making the most of it just in case it happens again!


I still can't believe that I was picked to be one of the replacement  ladies for  this Christmas card challenge blog called ABC Christmas Challenge Blog of which every fortnight we will be making christmas cards.


This is my card for D is for Decorations with added ribbon.  I used my Merry Christmas Tilda masked with Jolly Ornaments coloured her in with copics and cut out using my Labels One Nestability.  The backing card is the same reversable sheet as the dp from Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses called Thin Ice.  The ribbon is from my stash, blue adhesive gems Papermania.  The sentiment is from Penny Black also cut out with the same Nestie set.

SWEET STAMPIN CHALLENGE 13 - colour combo

This weeks challenge over on Sweet Stampin  is a colour combo where you have to use a minimum of 3 choices of colour from below








This is my creation using Tempting Turquoise, Cameo Coral and Summer Sun.  If you haven't got any of the SU colours you are free to use any close match that you have.



All products used are from SU except for the copics which I used to colour the stamped image with.  The dp is from Pink Flamingo Designer Paper Series and the stamped image is from Bloomin' With Beauty stamp set (kindly sent to me in a RAK from Emma).

MAGNOLIA DOWN UNDER - pink and grey


What a lovely colour combo to work with this week.  I used my Tilda holding Rose, coloured her in with copics and cut out with my Labels Four Nestie.  I also added a touch of glossy accents to the rose for detail.


The grey paper is from craftworkcards called Grape and Grey and the pink dp is from SU Rose Red Designer Series Paper pack.  For the backing I used SU Rose Red cardstock.  I used my Martha Stewart Daisy punch for the pretty scalloped detail.  Flowers I punched out with my Woodware flower punches and the pink gems were from my stash.

FRIDAY SKETCHERS 88


I loved creating this sketch and used one of my latest new stamps Tilda Writing Diary, coloured her in with copics and cut out with my circular Nestie.


All the dp is SU Designer Series Paper called Delicate Dots.  I used Certainly Celery and So Saffron backing card from SU and Star Mist Bazzill backing card.  The ribbon is from my stash and the adhesive green gems are from Colorbok.  The sentiment is from WoJ and is cut out with my Long Rectangle Nestie.

YIPPEE - ANOTHER DT POST FOR ME!



Well its been a another very lucky Wednesday for me today as I have been chosen to be part of a DT on a  Christmas challenge blog which runs every fortnight.


I am really pleased as this is the second DT I am now on and as this one is Christmas cards I shouldn't have any excuse to panic nearer the end of the year!

MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES (MAWTT) CHALLENGE 32 - childhood memories and sketch


I thought this was a lovely theme over on MAWTT which was to follow the sketch provided and add your choice of childhood memory.


As I had won $10 worth of digital downloads from Mo's Digital Pencil one of my choices was this lovely image called Em which I thought would be lovely as a childhood memory saying prayers before bedtime.


I coloured her in with copics and mounted onto pink Bazzill cardstock.  The dp is from Nana's Nursery Baby Girl paper pack.  The ribbon and pearls are from my stash and the flower is from Prima Daisy Dreams.

ASPOONFULLOFSUGAR CHALLENGE 89 - Lets Get Sketchy


Well I wasn't going to make anymore Valentine Cards but couldn't resist following the sketch on A Spoon Full Of Sugar.


I used my Elise stamp from Sugar Nellie, coloured her in with copics and mounted onto red Bazzill cardstock.  The heart dp is Making Memories Love Notes Stitched Heart and the text dp is MM Love Notes Sampler.  I used my scallop and plain heart nesties to cut these out.  The  string of red hearts is from Papercellar.  The heart embellishment is also from Making Memories.  I used a SU sentiment from the Circle of Friendship stamp set which was cut out with my SU 1" circle punch.

WHIFF OF JOY CHALLENGE 65 - Love


I didn't fancy making another Valentines card so as a friend of mine has given birth to her 3rd son I thought I would incorporate this weeks theme of Love in a new baby card.


I used my Willow holding Baby stamp, coloured her in with copics and cut out with my Curved Rectangle Nestie.  The backing card is from Bazzill Basics Paper called Blind Date and the dp is the same reversable sheet from SU Designer Paper Series Paper Patterns called Bashful Blue.  The ribbon I bought from House of Frazer.  The roses are wildorchidcrafts and the 2 larger blue flowers were sent to me in a RAK from my friend Wynneth off her holidays in the USA last year.  The sentiment I typed and printed off my computer which was then cut out with my oval punch and mounted onto paper cut out with my scallop oval punch both from SU.  The  crystals are from The Snowman collection.

SWEET STAMPIN CHALLENGE 12 - Floral Frenzy!


What fantastic entries we had last week for the Scallops challenge.  Now for this week over on Sweet Stampin Challenge we have a Floral Frenzy going on.


All the products I have used to create this card are all Stampin Up except for the colouring which I used copics.

POLLYCRAFT MONDAY CHALLENGE - Things with Wings



I just had to use one of my new downloads from Pollycraft's new release Lilybean Fairies set 1 called Primrose Carefree.  This is the first time I have ever used a digital download and can't believe how easy it is to print off.


I coloured her in with copics and mounted onto cardstock from SU Soft Subtles called Pale Plum.  The dp I received in a RAK and don't know what its called but think its gorgeous.  I used my eyelet border punch, oval punch and scallop oval punch all from SU.  The sentiment is from Whiff of Joy Fairy Sayings sentiment stamp set.  The ribbon and gems are from my stash.

FRIDAY SKETCHERS 87


I loved following the sketch this week.  I used one of my winning stamps I received from Sugar Nellie called Make A Wish, coloured her in with copics and cut out with my square nestie.


The cream backing card is Bazzill and the dp is from Papermania Signature Blueberry Hill paperpack.  I used my Martha Stewart Daisy Lace punch for the fancy edging.  The sentiment was a free download from my friend Emma which I cut out with my SU oval punch.  I mounted this onto some of the same dp cut out with my SU scallop punch.  The roses are from wildorchidcrafts.

SKETCH SATURDAY SKETCH 88


I loved following the sketch this week on Sketch Saturday.  I used Tilda with flower garland which was sent to me in a RAK,  coloured her in with copics and cut out with my oval nestie.  All the dp are from the same Forever Friends paper pack called Pink Parfait.  The blue backing card is Bashful Blue from SU Soft Subtles and the pink backing card is SU Rose Red cardstock.


The ribbon is from my stash.  The sentiment is from SU Wow Flowers stamp set which is cut out with my SU 1" circle punch.  The plain blue circle is cut using my Woodcare punch and the scalloped circle is cut out using my SU scallop circle punch.  The flowers are all Prima Daisy Dreams.

Well what a day today has been so far.  Think this is my lucky day!  I have won Challenge 64 on Whiff of Joy and won HERB WITH TEA POT

JUST MAGNOLIA - Hearts and Flowers


Well with Valentines Day coming up what an appropriate theme for this week over at Just Magnolia.  


I used 2 stamps from the Magnolia Winter Kit and masked them together using my Stamp-a-ma-jig from SU which after using several times of using  I would reckon its a must have for any crafter.  I coloured the images with copics and cut out with my Labels One Nestie.  The backing card is Ruby Red from SU Earth Elements cardstock pack.  The small heart dp is from Making Memories Love Notes Patterned Hearts and the large heart dp is also from Making Memories Love Notes called Stitched Hearts.  For the heart edging I used my Martha Stewart Valentine Lace punch.  Ribbon is from Celebrate.  Heart adhesive gems are Hobbycraft.  Roses are from wildorchidcrafts and the leaves are punched out of green shimmer card from my stash with my L-Em punch.

WHIFF OF JOY CHALLENGE 64


For this weeks challenge there is a sketch to follow.  I used my Willow with Strawberry Basket, coloured her in with copics and cut out with my Labels One nestie.  The plain red card is Ruby Red from SU Earth Elements Cardstock.  The strawberry dp is Magnolia Strawberry's and Cream from the Lazy Summer Day's paper collection.  The circle dp is from SU Summer Picnic designer paper series.  The sentiment is from Whiff of Joy cut out with the same nestie. The ribbon and bow are from my stash.  Roses from wildorchidcrafts and leaves cut out of cardstock from my stash with my L-Em punch.
