I had my delivery of some Whiff of Joy Xmas stamps recently and couldn't resist using an image off one of them for the latest Sweet Stampin Challenge which is a lovely sketch to follow!

I have used Henry Mouse holding a Christmas Wreath and coloured him in with copics. I have used the following the items from Stampin Up:- 

Cardstock - Real Red and Very Vanilla
Designer Paper - Merry Moments and Ski Slope
Ribbon - Real Red and Chocolate Chip

The roses are all from wildorchidcrafts and the sentiment is a rub on from Pebbles Inc.

I have been lucky enough to be picked to be a Guest Designer for the latest challenge over on Your Next Stamp who have some great challenges and also have their own stamps for sale in their store.  The theme for challenge 26 is entitled Grow Your Own which we would love to see your handmade flowers .  The only rules are you must use a stamp from YNS!

It is my daughters' best friends birthday today so I have made her a card using Cupcake Cutie Fhiona - isn't she adorable?  I coloured her in with copics and pieced onto cardstock from Stampin Up called Pale Plum.  The dp is DCWV The Sweet Stack.  I have used ribbon from my stash, Stampin Up Eyelet border punch and adhesive shimmer dots  from Papermania.  The flowers have been made from my Woodware flower punches from Pale Plum c/s, shiny paper from stash, circle centres made with my hole punch and added small adhesive shimmer dots to the centres.

I do hope you will pop over to the store and take a look as the stamps are gorgeous and also pop over to see what the rest of the DT have created.

What a really miserable day we have today.  I'm off down to my daughters' school later to take part in a family activities course with the children from Reception and Year 1(which is my daughters' year).  We are having a introductory session today then it will last until November.

I have made a card for two challenges:- Whiff of Joy which is to make a Thank You card to celebrate their 2nd year birthday and Sweet Sketch Wednesday who have a fantastic sketch to follow.

I have used my Willow with Champagne stamp, coloured her in with copics, cut out with my fiskars circle cutter and added Whiff of Joy swirls around the edge in Rose Bud Memento Ink.  For the lacy circle I used a paper doily.  The cardstock is from Stampin Up called Chocolate Chip and Pretty In Pink and the dp is also SU from Sweet Pea Designer Paper series.  Ribbon also SU called Chocolate Chip and Regal Rose.  Sentiment is my new purchase from SU called Stem Sayings also stamped in Rose Bud ink.  Flowers are Prima Daisy Dreams and adhesive pearls are Hobbycraft.

Well what a totally miserable day we are having today and last night was worse complete with a thunderstorm which flooded roads around Wolverhampton in a matter of minutes!

I have decided to follow the sketch over on Penny Black Saturday Challenge as its been ages that I have entered one.

I have used my new Penny Black stamp called A Gift of Giving and coloured with my copics, silver glamour dust and white flowersoft.  The cardstock are both Bazzill from my stash.  The dp snowflake dp is from BoBunny and the flower/red spot dp is the same reversable sheet from October Afternoon.  Sentiment is from Dovecraft, adhesive gems from Papermania and flowers from wildorchidcrafts.

What a lovely couple of days we are having for the end of September.  Today they say is the last of the warm weather and the cold is on its way brrrrrrrrr!

I have decided to enter the sketch over on Sketch Saturday and combine it with the challenge over on Just Magnolia which is themed Lace It Up.

The image I have used is from the new Magnolia 2010 Christmas stamps which I have coloured in with copics and gold glamour dust and cut out with my square nestability.  I also used my oval Nestability.  The dp used is from Stampin Up called Merry Moments and the cardstock also from SU is called Old Olive and Real Red as is the ribbon.  The flowers are all from wildorchidcrafts and the sentiment is a rub on transfer from Kaiser.


We are on T already over on ABC Christmas and for this challenge we want to see creations with Trees with an added extra of buttons.

We are kindly been sponsored by Regina over at the Cutting Cafe who has offered some Christmas themed digi stamps for us to work with and also is offering a prize to the lucky winner of the challenge.

I have chosen the Christmas Tree trio from All About Christmas set and the sentiment from Christmas Circle Set 2.  I used my copics and adhesive gems on the Christmas trees.  The backing card is Glorious Green from Stampin Up and the dp is from my stash.  Ribbon from craftyribbons, trees and button from my stash.

I hope you all had a lovely weekend.  On Saturday I took my daughter to see Tinkerbell at the cinema then we had friends round for a chinese takeaway then watched some comedians on the tv.  I just wish it hadn't gone so cold!

Anyway I have come across this lovely new challenge blog for all us SweetPea fans called In A SweetPea Dream Challenge Blog and their first challenge is called Show Us Your Dream which you can interpret in anyway you wish and I also want to enter this into challenge 44 over on Sketch and Stash.

I have used my newest Sweetpea stamp called Restless Thoughts and coloured her in with copics and crystal ice Stickles.  The dp is K&Co Classic K McKenna paper pad which is mounted onto my newest purchase of backing card called Satin Rose from the Core'dinations range.  The large flowers are my long forgotten Prima Daisy Crazy and the roses are from wildorchidcrafts.  Pink adhesive gems from Hobbycraft.

I have used Sweet Pea Blue Rose Tatoo which is available from Lacey's store and coloured her in with prisma pencils.  The dp I have used are all from DCWV Sea Glass paper pack which have been layered onto Cameo Coral and Taken With Teal cardstock both from Stampin Up.  The flower and paper ribbon are also DCWV Sea Glass, as are the pearls.  The sentiment is from SU Wow Flowers stamp set also layered onto the same SU cardstock.

Well its that time again over on Katharina's blog where she is holding another GD spot for the Whiff of Joy team.  All the details can be found here.

The challenge for this GD call is to create a Bottle Tag which you must use a Whiff of Joy stamp somewhere on your creation and upload it onto Katharina's blog by Tuesday 23rd September 8pm GMT+1.

I have used one of my latest purchases from Whiff of Joy - Angel Charlotte which I cut out and coloured with copics and stardust glitter. For the tag shape I used my curved rectangle nestabilities.   All the cardstock , dp and ribbon are from Stampin Up:- Old Olive c/s, Garden Green c/s,  Merry Moments Designer Series Paper and Real Red grosgrain ribbon.  I also used my SU plain oval and scallop oval punch for the cardstock which the  sentiment has been pieced onto.  Sentiment from craftworkcards, flowers from wildorchidcrafts, green adhesive gems Hobbycraft and red adhesive gems Papermania.

Tilda as Lucia

I'm really into doing some Christmas Cards at the moment and when I saw the sketch over on Magnolia Down Under I just had to complete another christmas card!

I have been able to get hold of one of the 2010 Magnolia Christmas Stamps called Tilda as Lucia, coloured her in with copics and silver stardust glitter.  I then cut out and pieced onto red Bazzill cardstock.  All the dp used are from Magnolia So Jolly 2009 collection also pieced onto the same cardstock.  The roses are all from wildorchidcrafts and the adhesive gems are from Papermania.

Over on the brand new Crafty Purple Frog Challenge blog there is a DT call and I have decided to give it a whirl.  All the details on what is required can be found here.

I would love to be part of the DT as I love creating with digital images and most of all love using Ching-chou Kuik's Fantasy Art.

I have used a Pyramage sheet from The Crafty Purple Frog called Poinsettia Fairy and pieced onto some silver card from my stash cut out with my scallop nestability.  Both the dp are from Papermania Deck The Halls which also have been pieced onto silver card.  I have also used 2 pieces of ribbon from my stash and some poinsettia flowers which I can't remember where they are from.  The sentiment is from craftworkcards pieced onto an oval cut out with my SU oval punch.  I have added silver glitter writer to some of the snowflakes for detail.

Birthday Tilda

Today my husband has gone to work the weekend near to Lowestoft so taking advantage of some crafting time with my daughter.

I have followed the latest sketch over on Just Magnolia and also the challenge over on WOC 5 which is to use pearls and pins.

I have used my Tilda with Presents, coloured her in with prisma pencils, edged with purple chalk and cut out with my curved rectangle nestability.  All the dp are from the Papermania Henbury Lane paper pack which has been layered onto Lavender Lace cardstock from SU.  The lace, pins and white pearls are all from Hobbycraft, sentiment from Personal Impressions, lavender pearls from Kaiser and roses from wildorchidcrafts.

Well so far my little girl is enjoying school and even enjoying her homework but will see how long that will last lol!  I'm hopefully going to be selling my cards at a local craft fair end of October so I'm starting to organise myself for that been as though it will be my first time selling.  My Auntie will also be doing her own craft stall so I'm sure she will help me out.

I have followed the lovely sketch by Erin over on Sunday Sketch and Stamp and am entering it into the latest Lovely-Haenglar-Only challenge which is to use layers.  I have used my Hanglar Girl with Flower stamped image, coloured her in with prisma pencils, added Glossy Accents to the flower and cut out with my oval nestability.  The dp is DCWV Linen Closet with is all layered onto  Linen Closet matching cardstock.  The ribbon is from my stash and flowers cut out using my Woodware flower punches and hole punch for the centres.  I used my oval punch from Stampin Up to layer the sentiment which is from craftworkcards.

I am entering this card into this weeks Sketch Saturday Challenge of which Jeanette has done a wonderful sketch to follow.

I have used my Sitting Hanglar girl stamp, coloured her in with prisma pencils and cut out with my circular nestability.  The cardstock used is from Stampin Up called Certainly Celery and the dp is from My Mind's Eye Quite Contrary paper pack.  I have used 1" Double Stitch Grosgrain Ribbon from SU called Rose Red and added pink adhesive gems from Hobbycraft.  The flowers are all from wildorchidcrafts.


Can't believe we are on letter S already which for this challenge we have used Santa images but with an added extra of NOT TO BE RED!

I have used a Santa with Lantern from Sugar Nellie which I received in a RAK from my friend Fiona, coloured him in with blue and brown copics, silver glamour mist and mounted onto Stampin Up Brocade Blue cardstock.  Both the dp used is from Ladybug and Friends Wonderland Hot Chocolate and Snow Much Fun.  Sentiment is from LOTV Christmas sentiment set cut out with my circle nestability and mounted on SU cardstock also cut out with a larger circle nestability.  Snowflake brads from Dovecraft Christmas Shimmer Brads pack.

I am also entering this into the Sketch and Stash challenge from which I followed the sketch.

The theme for our next challenge on Magical Monday is Lace and we have been kindly sponsored by stitchybearstamps.  I have chosen Lil Angel from their store as you can use her for a variety of different cards.  I have chosen a monochrome look.

I coloured her in with copics, black glitter, silver shimmerz and silver Twinkles writer on her wings.  I cut her our with my circular nestability and pieced onto a larger circle cut out of black cardstock.  The dp used is from Kanban.  I used my latest purchase from wildorchidcrafts which was the Guipure Lace which I think is adorable.  The black pearls are from Hobbycraft and the flowers are from
