MAGICAL MONDAY - Wings/FRIDAY SKETCHERS 130

I hope you arent getting too down with all the snow thats about.  Luckily here where I live we have only had a covering but my thoughts are with you all who have had more and finding it difficult to get about!

Over on Magical Monday for our next challenge we would love to see your creations with 'Wings'.  We would like to stress that you have to use a magical image as stated at the top of the challenge blog page in order to be in the draw for the prize.  We had some lovely entries for our last challenge but sadly not all could be included in the draw as they didnt include a magical image!

Now onto my DT creation for Magical Monday. I have followed the lovely sketch by Donalda over on Friday Sketchers for my inspiration as I love sketches!

I have used one of my stamps from the latest Hanglar Christmas set 3, coloured her in with copics and added glamour dust to her wings.  The dp I have used is from Stampin Up called Jolly Holiday and also cardstock and ribbon called Old Olive.  The sentiment is from LOTV Christmas Circular Sentiments which has been punched out with my SU scallop circle punch and added small red gems from Hobbycraft around the edge.  Leaves punched out with my Martha Stewart Frond punch and roses from wildorchidcrafts.

I do hope you will pop over to see what the rest of the DT have created and leave them some love too.

Even though its a cold one today I'm taking my 5 year old daughter Seren to see our local town's Christmas lights being switched on which they are also having santa arriving with his reindeer and fireworks so hopefully should be a good night.  To warm us up after I think a pizza would go down nice lol!

My next card I have combined for two challenges:- Lovely Haenglar-Only want to see snowflakes and Sunday Sketch and Stamp have a lovely sketch to follow.

I have used one of my latest Hanglar stamp purcheses and coloured her in with copics and Sakura pens.  The cardstock is lilac shimmer card from Crafters Companion and dp from DCWV Rose Tinted Christmas paper pack.  The white circle has been embossed but sadly you cant see it very well!  Ribbon from craftyribbons, sentiment from craftworkcards pieced onto an oval cut out with my SU punch.  Snowflakes are cut out using my Spellbinders snowflake die cut and added gems from Hobbycraft.

PHOEBE WITH DOVE - Wild Rose Studio Bloghop and sketch challenge

MY NEC STASH!

Although I really enjoyed going to the show with my friend and meeting up with other crafting friends I was really disappointed as to what many of the stands had to offer and with no Magnolia stand what can I say!

This is all I really bought - yes I managed to get hold of 2 different sheets of LOTV sentiments but the third one they had had sold out on Friday!  By about dinner time I think they had sold all the sentiment sheets they had.  I also bought a pair of cutting pads for my Bigshot, a pack of 6x6 envelopes, LOTV stamping card,  2 sheets of Kling-on (which was at a bargain price of £2.99) and a good supply of double sided tape!  My friend who has only just recently started card making couldnt believe how cheap you could get supplies as she only normally shops at Hobbycraft!
