Sorry again for my picture quality but having to post this before I do the school run as got a few things to do before work!

I am entering this into the Just Magnolia and hAnglar sTanglar Challenge 90 which this week is a fantastic sketch created by Donalda.

I have used my new Magnolia image called Tilda with Birthday Present coloured in with copics, pink stickles and cut out with my oval nestie.  I have pieced this onto a scalloped oval.  The cardstock is Pink Passion from Stampin Up and dp is called Once Upon A Dream which is double sided from Best Creation Inc newly purchased from my local Hobbycraft store.  Ribbon from my stash, blossom flowers from wildorchidcrafts, pink fern punched out for me by my friend Wynneth with a Martha Stewart punch.  Wynneth was kind enough to locate one of these punches for me so now have one of my own!  Sentiment is from Justrite Birthday Sentiments Set.

I must apologise for the poor light quality on my card but today is quite a dull day and I am off to work shortly so this was the only opportunity to take the photo!  I have made this card for a friend of mine whose son will be 6 this weekend.  I have followed the fantastic sketch over on Sketch Saturday who are being sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps.

I have used a digi stamp from Pollycrafts from the Critters and Cogs selection called Zoom, coloured it in with copics, added gold adhesive gems from Create and Craft and cut out with my circle nestie.  The cardstock is from Stampin up called Certainly Celery and the dp is from DCWV All About Boys stack.  The sentiment is generated off my computer.

Thanks for looking.

Hopy you all had a lovely weekend?  Mine started off on Friday meeting up with my old school friend at Nando's then Saturday I took my daughter to see Gullivers Travels in 3d at the pictures - it was really funny.

I did manage to complete my next card during Saturday morning before the pictures which is my DT card for Magical Monday Challenge which is being hosted by Heidi who has chosen a theme of Flowers and we are being sponsored by Lili of The Valley.  I would also like to enter this into the ABC Challenge which the theme is M for Magical with an option of following a sketch which I chose to do.

I have used one of the latest fairy stamps from Lili of The Valley called Destiny's Moon and coloured her in with copics, mauve sakura glitter pen and pink stickles.  The cardstock and ribbon are both from Stampin Up called Pretty In Pink and the dp is also SU from the Sweet Pea Designer Paper collection.  Flowers are from wildorchidcrafts, green brads are from my stash and the sentiment is from Pink Gem Designs cut out with my scallop circle punch also from SU.

I do hope you will join in with us over on Magical Monday and visit the rest of the DT and leave them some love too.

Well I have actually done my first few hours today at work after being off since beginning of October last year.  It went well as luckily was able to work with an old friend I used to work with when she was on nights!  Just hope the rest of the week goes as good as today has.

I have decided to enter the latest sketch challenge over on the Sugar Bowl which I havent entered in a while which has a theme of embossing.  I'm sorry about the picture quality but had to take it when I returned home from work which then its starting to go dusk!  I couldn't even watermark it as my watermark programme seems to be playing up!

I have used one of my Gorjuss Girls sitting down which I must confess I havent used in ages and coloured in with copics and cut out.  The oval has been cut out of embossed cardstock from Kanban with my oval nestability.  All the following are from Stampin Up:- Lap of Luxury Designer Paper Series, Concord Crush ribbon and scallop border punch.  Bow was tied with my Bow-Easy, flowers punched out with my Woodware punch and gems were sent to me in a RAK.

MAGICAL MONDAY - Gothic Angelz

I have had a hectic weekend as my ex-husband has had the dreaded lurgy so couldnt have Seren for the weekend and so therefore I have had to make sure that Seren is kept entertained whilst I just finish some of my DT cards etc!  Luckily it was Seren's second cousins' birthday outing yesterday and went to a playcentre, followed my a visit to Mcdonalds then back to theirs for the cake - I didnt mind as it kept Seren amused!

I've also had my letter from work to say when I will be returning as been off since beginning of October due to my marriage breakup and also whilst they try and sort out me changing my hours to the daytime as I worked nights!  I start back Tuesday - I'm very aprehensive  and nervous about going back but hopefully should be ok as its only 4 hrs Tuesday to Friday.

Onto details of our next challenge over on Magical Monday.  Cathy is hosting this and has chosen the theme of Gothic Angelz and we have been kindly sponsored by Kenny K who in return has kindly given us some images to work with.

I have chosen Kitty Katastrophe, coloured her in with copics and cut out with my Labels Ten nestie.   The pink dp used is from Doodlebug called Cupcake Filigee and the black and white dp are from Stampin Up Day and Night Designer Paper Series.  I used Regal Rose and Basic Black cardstock also from SU.  The sentiment is from JustRite Birthday Sentiments Set cut out with my Woodware circle punch which has been pieced onto a scalloped circle punched out with my SU punch.  Ribbon from my stash and Adhesive Gem Stones from Hobbycraft.

I would also like to enter this into the latest Friday Sketchers Challenge which this week is been hosted for the first time by their newest DT member Jacque.

I do hope you will pop by the rest of the great DT and leave them some love for their creations.

LOTV - Little Ballerina!

I haven't entered LOTV for a while so thought I would use one of my purchases from the NEC craft show last November for one of my friends' daughters' birthday card.  She will also be 6 same as Seren and was born exactly 3 weeks after Seren - it was quite funny when we were both pregnant and went out together!

I have used Little Ballerina from LOTV, coloured her in with copics and cut out with my circular nestability.  The dp used is from my Disney Princess More Than Just a Paper Pack and Rose Embroidery cardstock from Coredinations.  I used my new faux crochet border from Die-namics for the fancy edging.  Ribbon is from SU called Pretty In Pink, pink pearl gems from Hobbycraft, sentiment from Forever Friends Pink Parfait and flowers punched out with my Woodware flower punches.

Thursday, 6 January 2011

Its Serens' first day back at dance lessons tonight and she is really looking forward to it as she is taking her Jolina Ballerina doll and a small ballerina doll her Nannie bought her from the Opera House in Covert Garden in London.

Its Seren's 2nd cousins' birthday today and will be 6 same age as Seren (really weird as Seren was due on 5th January but obviously couldn't wait so arrived on New Years' Day) and we are all going to a playcentre on Saturday, followed by a little tea party at her house so this card is for her.

I've decided to combine my next creation for two challenges which are Stamp Fairy Challenge which is themed Colour Explosion Recipe - 2 dp and 3 embellishments, also Sketch and Stash 52 who are also having a DT call.  I'd love to be on the design team as I would love to inspire other crafters with my creations as I also love to follow sketches and interpret them in my own way!

I have used one of the adorable images from Stamp Fairy called Thank You 5 which I have very recently purchased, coloured in with copics and cut out with my circular nestability.  I then placed it onto my new Decorative Doily from Die-namics cut out of Stampin Up  cardstock called Only Orange.  The dp used is from my stash draw from DCWV called Citrus Stack.  Also used from Stampin Up cardstock called Yoyo Yellow.  Ribbon from my stash, flowers cut out with my Woodware punches and gold adhesive gems from Craft and Create.

CRAFTY PURPLE FROG CHALLENGE DT CARD - Use something new on your card

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New Year.  Seren celebrated her 6th birthday on New Years Day and we had a little party for her at home with some of her school friends and cousins.  It really went well considering I was dreading having the party at home but no damage done lol!

Anyway onto the latest challenge over on Crafty Purple Frog.  The theme for challenge 6 is to use something new on your card.  I expect most of you would have had something to do with craft for Christmas or even bought in the sales!

I have used one of the latest pyramage sheets which will be available very soon in the store called Night Daffodil.  The dp I had from my stash and  not sure what its called as they are loose sheets.  I have used a Martha Stewart punch around the corner Pansy punch which I bought a while back but have only just taken it out of the cardboard packaging!  Sentiment is from Magnolia, ribbon from stash and butterflies are from Creative Charms and are also a recent purchase!

Dont forget to pop along to see what the rest of the DT have created and leave them some love.
