Hope you all had a lovely weekend.  Mine was quiet as my daughter spent the weekend at her dad's house, so Saturday night I visited one of the moms from school and Sunday went out for my dad's birthday meal as its his birthday Tuesday.  Its also my Uncle and Auntie's birthday too on Tuesday so I made the following card for my Auntie Pat.

I used one of my new Tilda stamps, coloured her in with copics and cut out with my circular nestie pieced onto a paper doily from my stash.  The dp used is from one of my favourite Stampin Up paper packs called Sweet Always which is sadly no longer available!  The ribbon is also SU called Regal Rose.  I used my Martha Stewart Layered Arches punch for the fancy trim.  The sentiment is from Justrite pieced onto a scallop circle cut out with my SU scallop circle punch.  The large rose is from Prima called Winter Rose Cherry Frost and the smaller roses were sent to me in my winning candy from Jacque.  Fern is cut out of SU Glorious Green cardstock with my Martha Stewart Branch punch which was kindly sent to me by my crafting buddy Wynneth.

I am entering this into the gorgeous sketch by Mina over on Just Magnolia and hAnglar & sTanglar Challenge.

Its took me several days to complete this next card in between making other cards and looking after my daughter.  I am entering the lovely Sketch and Stash challenge and Lovely Haenglar Only challenge which is themed Take Two which is to use two images on your creation.

I have chosen to use two lovely Hanglar stamps I bought off ebay and masked them using my SU Stamp-a-ma-jig (which I wouldn't be without)  and coloured them in with copics and promarkers (as I'm only just starting to restart my promarker collection again!!)  The cardstock used is from Stampin Up called Pixie Pink and the dp is from My Mind's Eye Quite Contrary paper pack.  I used ribbon from my stash, flower from Prima and adhesive gems are called Glitterati which I purchased from the NEC last November.  The sentiment is from Stampin Up Oval All set punched out with my SU plain and scallop oval punches.

As its half term I really thought I would struggle making any cards this week but I have been a little naughty and waited for my daughter to go to bed before starting!  I decided to enter the lovely theme over on Magnolia-licious Highlites Challenge who are holding a Mini World Blog Hop with a theme of Spring.  There are some gorgeous mini Magnolia's out there but still hard to come by in the UK as Magnolia have stopped appearing at the big craft shows :-(

As the theme is Spring I automatically thought of Easter so used my Magnolia Hello stamp and coloured her in copics.  The cardstock used are YoYo Yellow and Certainly Celery both from Stampin Up.  The dp is from the new Forever Friends Spring Time double sided paper pack which has some really gorgeous papers in, also the ribbon and bow is from the same Forever Friends co-ordinating product.  The sentiment and swirl are both from Magnolia and the flower I made up myself complete with brad from my stash.  The green gems are Treasures by Shabby Chic which I won in a gorgeous package from Jacque.

If you pop over to the blog you can follow the Blog Hop and admire some of the gorgeous mini Magnolia's which are available to buy from Magnolia-licious in the USA.

MAGICAL MONDAY - Lace and Two other Challenges

What a lovely Sunday I had with Seren.  I have joined a website called Single With Kids and there are various groups on there who organise holidays and days out for single parents and their children to go on at reduced prices.  Today was just a meet to get to know a few other parents over Nuneaton.  Great for the kids as we met at a Wacky Warehouse followed by a lovely dinner.

Anyway back to the challenge over on Magical Monday which is hosted by Vicky who has chosen a theme of Lace.  So we would love to see your magical images with wings together with some gorgeous lace!  For this challenge we are being sponsored by Pollycraft who are offering 5 digi's of the winners choice!

I have chosen to use one of my gorgeous LOTV stamps called Pom Pom, coloured her in copics and added pink and silver stickles for detail.  I have used Pretty in Pink and YoYo Yellow cardstock from Stampin Up and plain white cardstock from my stash.  The dp is from Papermania Summer Bloom paper pack,  lace and roses from wildorchidcrafts.  I also used my layered arches Martha Stewart edge punch for the fancy edging.

I would also like to enter this into the LOTV challenge which is My Favourite Colours (pink and yellow) and wildorchidchallenge which is a beautiful sketch by Bev.

I hope you can pop over to see what the rest of the DT have created.

I've been having a quiet weekend as my daughter is at her dad's so have managed to get some crafting done!  Saturday I did just go shopping for a few hours with my mom which was really nice!

I have combined my next creation with Just Magnolia and hAnglar sTanglar challenge which is a lovely sketch by Mina and I Love Promarkers Birthday Blog Hop which is a theme of Birthday.  I must admit though I did have to re-purchase some new promarkers as I sold all the ones I had last year to a friend who was just starting out making cards and as I had copics I found the promarkers were being neglected - but no more I have made a promise to myself that I will use them even more than when I originally had them!!

I have used my new Magnolia stamp called Tilda with Small Gift and coloured her in with my promarkers,  a little bit of Sakura glitter pen on the present and cut out with my oval nestability.  I adore the dp I have used which is from Stampin Up called Lap of Luxury Designer Paper Series which has been pieced onto Stampin Up cardstock called Concord Crush which is also the colour of the ribbon.  I have used my winning Martha Stewart punch called Layered Arches from Jacque for detail, diamante and pearl swirls from Prima, roses from wildorchidcrafts and sentiment from Personal Impressions.

Here is my take on the sketch over on this weeks Sketch Saturday, which is being hosted by Maya and sponsored by Tickled Pink Stamps.

I have used one of my new stamps from LOTV called Garden of Wishes, coloured in with copics and Sakura glitter pens,  cut out with my circular nestability and used purple chalk around the image.  The dp used is the same reversable sheet called Once Upon a Dream from Best Creation Inc and cardstock is called Orchid Opulence from Stampin Up.  Embossed cardstock from Kanban.  Gem decoration is something I picked up at the NEC craft show last November, paper doily from ebay and flowers all from wildorchidcrafts.

The challenge over on Magical Monday is hosted by Lacey who has chosen the theme of LOVE as Valentines Day is next week.  We would love to see all those gorgeous images with wings please.  We had a record breaking number of entries for our last challenge but unfortunately most didnt contain an image with wings!  Being as though Lacey is hosting she is also sponsoring this challenge with the following gorgeous prizes:-

Sweet November: Fathon & Lio
Sweet Pea: Brigid Ashood's Margox
Wags 'n Whiskers: Rhiannon
Prima Flowers: Lilyput Roses - Marshmellow
High Hopes: Angel Bear holding Kitty

I wouldn't have been bothering with making any Love themed cards as got no one to give them to as not with my husband any more but as it is a DT card I have made one!

I have used one of my latest purchases from Sweet Pea Stamps by Caron Vinson as I thought she was absolutely gorgeous and had to have her in my Sweet Pea collection.  I used my Prisma pencils to colour her in and pieced her onto Ruby Red cardstock from Stampin Up.  The dp used I have had for a while now from Making Memories Love Notes collection.  For the large circle I used one of my Circle Grand Nestabilities  as I decided to treat myself after Christmas to a Grand Calibur.  The corners have been cut out using my Vintage set from Cuttlebug, ribbon from my stash and roses from wildorchidcrafts.

I am also entering this into the latest Friday Sketchers challenge from which I have used the lovely sketch from.

ABC CHRISTMAS DT CARD - C is for Clean and Simple

Hope you all had a lovely weekend?  I helped one of the mom's from school move into her rented house with her daughter which luckily isn't far from her old house then Monday I swapped my people carrier for a smaller car as there is only myself and my daughter now and the old car was too big so hence wanted something alot cheaper to run!  To top my weekend off I have now reached slightly below my target weight and have lost 3 stone 2lb which I am more than happy with so just hope I can keep it off!

Now onto our challenge over on ABC Christmas Challenge which is being hosted by Helen.  Helen has created a lovely sketch to follow for our theme Clean and Simple.

We have some great sponsors for this challenge which are:-

Who are offering $15 voucher

3 digi stamps of their choice

I have used my Forever Friends Santa stamp, coloured in with copics and stickles and cut out with my circular nestie.  The dp is from a new paper pack I ordered from Dovecraft called Noel which has been layered onto Very Vanilla cardstock from Stampin Up.  The bow was tied with my Bow Easy and adhesive pearls from Hobbycraft.

I hope you will pop over to see what the rest of the DT have created and leave them some love too.
