Hi I thought I would post a pic of the card I made for Seren who has started year 4 at a completely new school.

Already she will be doing things more than at her old school.  She will be going swimming which won't be a problem as she is already a member of Wombourne Swimming Club and also as part of the music curiculum Seren will be learning to play the violin!

Hi I'm back again so must be getting back into things.  Then again Christmas is on its way so need to get cracking with some cards. Seren isnt back at school till Wednesday so I just have 5 mins to post this lol.

I have used yet another of my newly purchased gorgeous stamps from Bildmalarna called Mimosa Christmas Flower and coloured her in with pro markers.  I then cut her out with one of my curved rectangular Nestie.  The dp is a selection from Dovecraft Back to Basics Christmas - Traditional pack.  The card stock is kraft from my stash.  For the circle I used one of my circle nestie's.  The lace is Chantilly from Stampin Up, the sentiment is from The Snowman sentiment selection, ponsietta flowers are from wildorchidcrafts and the red adhesive gems are from Hobbycraft.

I have used the lovely sketch over on this weeks ChristmasChallenges(with sketches).

Hi everyone its been ages since I posted a card but totally lost my mojo and motivation somewhere but hopefully its slowly returning.  I decided to buy some new stash to help as was totally bored with what I already had and may sell some of the old to make way for new stuff.

The card I have created is for the challenge over on Christmas Challenges (with sketches) with an added twist of adding Snow and Stars.

I have used one of my newest stamp purchases from Bildmalarna called Snowflake, coloured her in with promarkers and added ice stickles for the snow effect.  I used kraft card stock and a selection of papers from Back To Basics Traditional Christmas pack.  I used ribbon from gold coloured wooden star shapes from Hobbycraft and the sentiment is from Stampendous.

I am steadily getting back into crafting but only making cards when I really need them as otherwise they just pile up and then I can't do anything with them!

I probably wont be making any cards though for a week or so after next Thursday as I am going into hospital to have my eye straightened and as my eye will be uncomfortable for a while think its best I don't use my laptop or craft much till it feels better.

Anyway back onto my latest creation which is for the challenge of Pastel Colours on Stamp and Create with Magnolia and Totally Tilda which is to use an egg and Tilda image.

I have used one of my Easter Magnolia stamps from a few years ago and coloured her in with pro markers.  I used a Floral Doily Spellbinder Shapeability for the fancy circle.  The dp used is a selection from a Forever Friends Spring Time paper pack and the cardstock is Barely Banana from Stampin Up.  Ribbon is Certainly Celery from Stampin Up and bow tied with my Bow-Easy.  Sentiment from Magnolia, Gems from Treasures by Shabby Chic and flowers from wildorchidcrafts.

Have a lovely weekend folks as its Mothers Day Sunday.

Thought I would get my Mothers' Day card made early and followed the theme over on Stamp and Create with Magnolia which is Spring with Butterflies.

I have used one of my Magnolia images which had butterflies already on it and coloured her in with pro markers.  I cut her out with my Labels Ten nestability.  The dp used are both from Magnolia called Rosy Butterfly and Daffodil.  Cardstock used are both from Stampin Up called Daffodil Delight and Regal Rose as is the ribbon.  Bow made using my Bow-easy. I used a sentiment from my stash and flowers from wildorchidcrafts.  The pink butterfly was from Hobbycraft.

Its been a few years since I last had to make a Valentines card so had to buy some uptodate crafting stuff to make one lol!  I love Me To You from the crafting to the cuddly :-)  I have made this for the special person in my life.

I am entering this into the challenge over on this weeks Totally Gorjuss challenge which has a theme of Love and also Ready- Teddy Go Challenge which is Love is in The Air.  I have used one of the new Me To You Valentine images and coloured in with promarkers and cut out with an oval nestie.  The card stock used is Ruby Red from Stampin Up.  I have also used scallop and plain heart nesties to cut out out the hearts.  The dp is a selection from the matching Valentine Me To You range.  Ribbon from my stash and sentiment from Hobbycraft.  I also used flat backed hearts from Hobbycraft.

I have had a lovely weekend as I visited my boyfriend whom I have been seeing since just after Xmas.  We went to Telford to buy my Valentines present as we only see each other at the moment every other weekend and so won't be seeing each other next weekend.  I told him whatever he bought me it would make me more than happy so I will be posting a picture on Thursday what he got me :-)

I have another friends' birthday coming up and so I have made this one for the lovely new challenge Stamp and Create with Magnolia which the theme this time is Spring Flowers.

I have used my Magnolia stamp with Tilda holding a bunch of flowers which I have coloured in with promarkers and yellow Sakura glitter pen on her wings.  I cut her out with my curved rectangular nestie and pieced onto Barely Banana cardstock from Stampin Up.  The dp is a selection from Papermania Rose Garden paper pack.  Ribbon is from my stash and pink flat backed gems from Papermania.  The sentiment which is from a Papertrey Ink set is cut out using a smaller rectangular nestie.  All the flowers are from wildorchidcrafts.

Sorry haven't been around for a while but nearly 2 weeks ago I made the most aweful decision of having my 14 year old Westie Timmy put to sleep.  The weekend before all this happened he suffered a fit and just went downhill very fast from there.  It was very upsetting for me as I was on my own with him to the very end and as I had him when he was 8 weeks old he was definately part of my family.  I had him cremated and his ashes placed in a Tea Light Urn which I have lit every day since I got him back.  The house is really quiet and I expect it will take some time to get used to it.

R.I.P. Timmy 25/09/1998 - 24/01/2013

Anyway back to my latest creation which was for a very dear friend of mine whom I work with and have done for nearly 20 years, whose birthday it was yesterday.

I followed the lovely sketch over on this weeks Sketch Saturday for inspiration.  The image is from Lily of The Valley which I coloured in promarkers and cut out with my circular nestie.  The dp are a selection from My Minds Eye Quite Contrary and the cardstock is from Stampin Up Pixie Pink and Certainly Celery.  I used a sentiment from Lily of The Valley Dreamy Days set pieced onto a scallop nestie circle.  The fancy corners are from Provocraft, gems from my stash and flowers from wildorchidcrafts.

Hope to be back again soon with more creations.

What a very wintery weekend we have just had.  Seren's school stayed open but we could collect them if we wanted so I left work early to do so.  Saturday her Dad took her out on the sledge which she thoroughly enjoyed and I took her to the pub for lunch.  Sunday was very traumatic for me as my 14 year old westie had a seizure so I had to rush him to the emergency vets which luckily by that time he seemed to be ok.  They kept him in overnight and I collected him today.  He responded well to treatment so just got to keep my eye on him.

With our wintery weather I've decided to make yet another Xmas card following the lovely sketch over on Christmas Challenges (with sketches) which has an added twist of using a doily.

I have used my Henry Mouse with Wreath stamp available from Whiff of Joy and coloured him in with pro markers.  The dp is from Dovecraft back to Basics Christmas paper pack and the cardstock is Old Olive from Stampin Up.  I have used a sentiment and gem stones from Hobbycraft.  I have kept it quite basic as most of my xmas cards have to be posted.

I'm so glad the snow didn't last very long where I live as I hate having to drive in it.  It did take me a little longer this morning though to defrost the car as it had some thick ice which I had to chisel away with my ice scraper!

A dear friend of mine who has moved to Devon is celebrating her birthday at the end of this month and will also become a Grandma for the first time so I decided to use the sketch over on Sketch Saturday for my inspiration for her card.

I have used one of my favourite Me To You Bear stamps called Cupcake Treat and coloured it in with pro markers.  I then cut out with my circular nestie.  The dp is a piece from the Me To You Especially For You paper pack and the ribbon from the matching ribbon set.  The cardstock is from Stampin Up (not sure what the colour name is as it was an odd piece I had left over).  Sentiment is from a stamp set in my stash as are the flowers. I've kept it quite flat as it has to be posted.

Can't believe how cold its gone again with snow expected!  A good excuse to get my first Xmas card of 2013 made for the challenge over on CCWS which is themed 'A Special One' which you can choose one of the sketches to follow from 2012.

I have followed the lovely sketch from week 20.  I used my Angel Tilda image and coloured in with pro markers and added gold glitter to her wings and halo.  The papers are a selection from Dovecraft Back To Basics Christmas pack and the cardstock is Very Vanilla from Stampin Up.  The ribbon is Always Artichoke also from SU with a bow made from my Bow-Easy.  The sentiment is from craftworkcards layered onto a plain oval punched out with my SU punch and the green flat backed pearls were from my stash.

Hope you are all having a good start to 2013.
