SUGAR BOWL - paper piecing

I couldn't believe that I had won one of the surprise candies on the latest Puppy Love blog hop over on Sugar Bowl. I was so delighted to have won Lead The Way which I decided to use for the latest challenge over on the Sugar Bowl which you have to use Paper Piecing on your project. Its also my best friend's birthday very soon and as she is having a Cockerpoo puppy in the next few weeks thought this image would work great on her card.

I used promarkers on the non paper pieced sections and used papers from Stampin Up called Sunny Garden which I adore. The cardstock and ribbon used are also from SU called Daffodil Delight. I created the flowers by layering 2 sizes of die cuts from Marianne Design and added a punched out circle to the centres and adding a yellow flat backed pearl to the centres. The sentiment is from Forever Friends Pink Parfait which has been placed onto a Extra-Large Modern Punched label from SU. To create the bow I used my Bow-Easy and added more flat backed pearls to the top corners.

Hope you all had a lovely weekend. Seren was off school on Friday due to teacher training so took her and her best friend to the pictures to see A Monster in Paris - I couldn't stop singing the main tune from it all weekend lol!

I don't usually make many male cards but as its my dad's birthday on March 1st thought I would give the challenge over on this weeks Lili's Little Fairies Challenge a go which has a theme of Oh Boy (a masculine card)

I have used Dad's The Word and coloured him in with promarkers. Cardstock used is Rich Regals Ballet Blue from Stampin Up and the dp are a selection from DCWV All About Boys Stack. The sentiment is from craftworkcards, small corner circles punched out with a hole punch with added tiny blue gems in the centres. Have kept it quite plain as its a male card and don't think that ribbons and flowers are their thing lol!

What a really miserable Tuesday. Got soaked doing the school run but my cup of tea and bowl of porridge soon warmed me up.

I have used the lovely sketch over on Christmas Challenges (with sketches) for my creation. I used my LOTV stamp which I think is called Festive Fairy, coloured her in with promarkers, added Holly Stickles to her scarf and used Crystal Ice Stickles for the snow effect. All the dp is a selection from Dovecraft Noel Premium Paper Pad and the cardstock are some of the reverse sheets. The poinsietta flowers were punched out with my Nellie Snellen punches and added small gold brads to the centres from my stash. Ribbon is Always Artichoke from Stampin Up. The sentiment is from craftworkcards pieced onto an oval and scallop oval punched out using my SU punches. Red gems from my stash.

BIRTHDAY TILDA

I hope you all had a lovely weekend. I had my new plum rug for my living room and bought some new cushions to add some other colour to the room. Really pleased but now I'm on the hunt for a couple of canvas prints to go in the alcoves!!

I have made yet another birthday card but as yet it hasn't been allocated to anyone in particular lol but hopefully shouldn't be long for it to find a home!!

I have used the lovely sketch over on Sketch n Stash and used one of my Tilda stamps which has been negleted of late called Tilda with Birthday Present and coloured in with promarkers and added Sakura glitter pen.

The dp used is a selection from Sunny Garden Designer Series Paper, cardstock Daffodil Delight as is the ribbon all available from Stampin Up. For the flowers and fern I used my Marianne Design die cuts and added yellow brads for the centres from my stash. Gold/yellow adhesive pearls from my stash and the sentiment was generated on my laptop punched out with my oval SU punch.

I am also entering this into this weeks challenge over on I Love Promarkers which is Anything Goes as they are celebrating their 100th challenge!

ANOTHER BIRTHDAY CARD!

I can't believe how cold its been - not used to these extremely frosty mornings! Luckily wasn't slippy walking the school run so that was a blessing. Have heard its suppose to get milder as the week progresses so fingers crossed!!

An old friend of mine has a daughter whose birthday is on Saturday so have made my next creation for her. Her birthday always brings a smile to my face as she was born exactly 3 weeks after I had Seren and me and my friend used to meet up whilst we were pregnant and of course did the comparing of our pregnancies lol!

I have followed the challenge over on the new challenge blog called Lili's Little Fairies Challenge which the theme is to use your favourite LOTV stamp. I chose Rosie Posie which was a difficult choice as I love all the ones I have. I coloured her in promarkers and cut out with my circular nestie. For the fancy circle I used my Floral Doily Motif from Spellbinders. The cardstock is Pink Passon from Stampin Up and the dp is Tilda Flowergarden. I used my Martha Stewart Arches punch for the fancy edging and added polka dot ribbon from my stash. The fancy corners are from the Cuttlebug Vintage set and the scallop oval punched out with my SU punch. Sentiment from Wow Flowers also from SU.

I am also entering this into the challenge over on ABC Challenge which is H is for Happy Birthday.

CCWS - use punches or die cuts

Hope you all have had a lovely weekend. My friend fitted some vinyl in my bathroom Saturday and now its looking very nice as the carpet which was down before was quite hard to hoover! I'm now just awaiting a new rug for my living room which he is also getting for me as I have now decided on which colour I want to compliment with my black settee and accessories - plum!

As I don't want to get panicking later on this year with Christmas cards again I've followed the lovely sketch over on Christmas Challenge (with sketches) with the added theme of using punches or die cuts.

I have used my LOTV Christmas Dance stamp and coloured her in with promarkers with added gold stardust Sakura pen for the stars and red glitter glue. I then cut out with my oval nestie. I also used my scallop circle nestie and Decorative Doily from Die-namics. The dp is a selection from Noel premium paper pad from Dovecraft which the red is from one one of the sheets reversed! Lace is Chantilly available from Stampin Up, sentiment from craftworkcards mounted onto an oval punched out with my SU punch, snowflakes punched out using my Martha Stewart punch and red adhesive gems from my stash.

MAGICAL MONDAY - ANYTHING GOES

Hope you all had a good start to the New Year. It was Seren's 7th birthday yesterday but I didn't see her until about half 3 as she spent New Year's Eve and Sunday morning with her daddy. I celebrated the New Year with friends and my special friend round a club about 50 yards away from my home lol! The entertainment was an Elvis tribute artist followed by a disco until 1 am.

When Seren came back she opened her birthday presents then we went out with her Nannie and Grandad for her birthday tea.

Now onto my card for the latest challenge on Magical Monday Challenge which is Anything Goes. Its my ex's cousins daughters 7th birthday on 6th January and I made this card for her, trying to keep it quite simple for a little girl.

I used one of my LOTV stamps and coloured her in with promarkers, Sakura glitter pen and ice stickles on her wings then cut out with my circular nestie. The dp used is from Tilda called Flowergarden which I think is adorable. Cardstock used is Regal Rose from Stampin Up as is the ribbon tied with my bow-easy. I used adhesive gems from my stash and generated the sentiment on my laptop. I am also entering this into the challenge over on I Love Promarkers as that to is Anything Goes.

Its my birthday today and can't believe I've decided to have a crafting morning. Seren is with her daddy so making the most of my free time. I'm off out with my friend after dinner to choose my birthday present so really looking forward to that:-)

I have made my next card for the Blog Hop challenge over on Christmas Challenges (with sketches) which ends on 29th December so had to get this in quick lol!

I have used my Norma Fickel gnome with tree image available from Whiff of Joy, coloured in with promarkers and added gold sakura glitter pen to the star.

All the dp used is a selection from Let It Snow Premium Paper Pad from Dovecraft. I used my Martha Stewart snowflake edge punch, added Always Artichoke ribbon from Stampin Up, sentiment from craftworkcards pieced onto an oval punched out with my SU punch and square green gems from my stash. The fancy circle was punched out with my Fiskars circle punch.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SEREN!

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas. I had a very different Christmas this year as after Seren had opened her presents at my house she was then collected by her daddy to spend Christmas with him and I visited my parents for dinner on my own. It wasn't that quiet though as my 2 nephews and niece were also there lol!

Tomorrow (27th) it is my birthday and I will spending it with my special friend who will be taking me shopping to buy something for my birthday as well as taking me out for a meal. Thinking about that is already cheering me up from being on my own as I won't see her until Thursday. I have her then all day Friday then half of Saturday as this year its her daddy's turn to have her New Years Eve.

Its Seren's 7th birthday on Sunday (New Years Day) and I am taking her out for her birthday tea. This is Seren on Christmas day with McGregor the Westie and the doll she's been driving me nuts for.

I have made her card following the lovely sketch over on Friday Sketch Challenge.

I have used my new Lily of the Valley stamp called Summer 'Lovely Lilies', coloured her in with promarkers and sakura pink glitter pen then cut out with my oval nestie. It has been pieced onto an oval scallop cut out from Regal Rose cardstock from Stampin Up. The dp used is a selection from Best Creation Inc Once Upon A Time glitter papers. Ribbon is Regal Rose from SU, flowers, brads and pink gems all from my stash and the sentiment was generated on my laptop.

I've still got Christmas shopping to do but mainly only got to get more presents for Seren. Its also her birthday on New Year's Day so have to decide what she has for Christmas and what she has for her Birthday.

Anyway back to my latest creation which is yet another Me To You creation. I have used one of the lovely clear stamps from my Winter Wonderland set, coloured in with promarkers and added Ice Crystal Stickles for detail.

The dp used is a selection from the Me To You Winter Wonderland paper pack as is the ribbon which the bow has been tied using my bow easy. Cardstock used is Pixie Pink from Stampin Up. The sentiment is craftworkcards mounted onto an oval punched out with my SU oval punch and the pink dots are from my stash.

MAGICAL MONDAY - PINK AND SILVER

I can't believe this is our last challenge for 2011 over on Magical Monday Challenge. We have a theme of Pink and Silver which is one of my favourite colour combinations. I have also followed the lovely sketch over on christmaschallenges (with sketches).

For my creation I have used one of my stamps from Papilio called Fairy Snow which has been coloured in with promarkers and Stickles for detail. The silver cardstock is from my stash as is the silver ribbon. The pink dp is a selection from DCWV Rose Tinted Christmas and the sentiment is from craftworkcards mounted onto an oval punched out with my Stampin Up oval punch.

Gosh it has gone cold, I hate the icy/frosty mornings as have to walk Seren to school and I'm scared of falling over as if I do I know I will end up being off work with my back!! This week is the start of Christmas pressure at Royal Mail but luckily I'm still only working part-time.

I thought I'd made enough cards to send out but as usual there is the odd one or two names I have missed so here is another one I have made using the lovely sketch over on Sketch Saturday.

I have used my winning stamp from Christmas Challenges (with Sketches) which I think is adorable and coloured her in with promarkers and Sakura glitter pen for details. The dp I have used is a selection from craftworkcards called Jack Frost. The cardstock is Baja Breeze from Stampin Up. I used my Martha Stewart snowflake punch for the fancy edging and a MS snowflake punch for the snowflakes. Ribbon is from my stash and bow tied with my bow-easy and the silver adhesive gems also from stash. Sentiment also from craftworkcards mounted onto an oval punched out with my SU oval punch.

I am so pleased today is a much nicer day than yesterday as it was extremely windy and wet - we even had the most amazing rainbow ever which must be very rare at the end of November!!

I have taken a day off today to look after Seren as the teachers are taking industrial action so her school has had to be closed, so whilst I quickly post some creations I completed yesterday Seren is being occupied by the NickleodeonHD channel :-)

I have followed the lovely sketch over on Sketch n Stash to create the above cards for Seren's 2 teachers. I couldn't resist any longer not buying the new Me To You Clear Stamp set called Winter Wonderland and chose these mini clear stamps from it to use.

I cut them out with my circular nestie and coloured them with promarkers. The dp used is also from the Me To You range called Winter Wonderlandwhich I adore so much will have to purchase some more :-) For the cardstock I used Pixie Pink and Taken With Teal both from Stampin Up. The ribbon is from the matching Me To You ribbon set also called Winter Wonderland and the bow tied with my bow-easy. I have had a lovely weekend which started on Friday night which I went out with my work colleagues and my friend for a few drinks and a curry for Christmas and then on Saturday evening I cooked a meal from the Marks and Spencer Dine in for Two range which was absolutely scrumptious.

Now onto our new challenge over on Magical Monday Challenge which is to follow a lovely sketch designed by our very own lovely Heidi.

I have used my lovely Magnolia stamp called Tilda Holding Wreath and coloured her in with my copics. The cardstock used is Always Artichoke from Stampin Up and the dp is a selection from Basic Grey Wassail Paper Pad. The sentiment is from LOTV pieced onto a scalloped circle punched out with my SU punch, lace trim from my stash as are the red adhesive gems.

For some reason I have been enjoying making my Christmas Cards this year - just hope I will have enough to send out! I have made my creation for the LOTV challenge which is For Someone Special and followed the lovely sketch over on Sweet Sketch Wednesday.

I couldn't resist buying this lovely image from LOTV which I coloured in promarkers and added stickles to her wings then cut out with my circular nestie. The dp I have used is a selection from Papermania Mistletoe Kisses and the cardstock is Stampin Up Regal Rose as is the ribbon. I used my scallop circle nestie and SU scallop oval punch for the fancy backings. The snowflakes were punched out with my Martha Stewart punches and the pink shimmer gems are Papermania. I generated the sentiment on my laptop.

I haven't used my Hanglar stamps for a while and found this one out to make yet another Xmas Card.

I coloured her in with copics and added crystal ice Stickles to her hat trim. The cardstock used is from Stampin Up called Ballet Blue and the dp is a selection from Dovecraft Winter Wonderland. The snowflakes were punched out of white shimmer card with my Martha Stewart punch and the smaller blue snowflakes I used a punch from my late nan. I had a lovely weekend for a change. Seren was with her daddy from Friday to Sunday so on Friday I went out with my friend for a lovely meal at a local pub then Saturday night I cooked a meal selected from the M&S dine in for two range with the same friend.

Over on Magical Monday Challenge we have a new theme which is to use your scraps! I also followed the lovely sketch over on Christmas Challenges.

The image I have used is one of the gnomes created by Norma Fickel for Whiff of Joy and coloured in with copics. The dp scraps I have used are all from the same SU designer paper pack called. The cardstock is Very Vanilla and Old Olive also from SU. I used some ribbon I found in my stash which the bow was tied using my bow-easy. Sentiment is craftworkcards mounted onto an oval cut out with my plain oval punch from SU. Flowers were cut out of scrap cardstock with my Nellie Snellen Poinsietta punches which I added gold adhesive gems to the middles. The green adhesive gems are from hobbycraft.

Whilst browsing through some of my blogging friends blogs I came across a lovely challenge blog for Christmas cards called christmaschallenges and they all feature sketches so this is perfect for me as my mojo still hasn't returned! I am also entering my card into the challenge over on ABC Christmas Challenge which has a theme of Vintage!

I have used one of my LOTV images (sorry don't know her name) and coloured her in with copics and added stickles. I then cut her out with my circular nestie. The dp I have used is a selection from my Basic Grey Wassail Paper Pad which sadly I have nearly finished and not sure if it is available anymore. For the cardstock I have used Real Red from Stampin Up. The ribbon was from my stash, sentiment is also LOTV which has been cut out using my SU oval punch and pieced onto a scallop oval cut out with a scallop punch also from SU, adhesive square gems from my stash and Poinsietta flower is from wildorchidcrafts.

I have actually found some time to create another Christmas card which I used the lovely sketch created by Bev over on this weeks LOTV Thursday Challenge .

I used the gorgeous Christmas Dance stamp available at LOTV, coloured her in with promarkers, sakura glitter pen and stickles. I then cut her out with my circular nestie. The dp used are all from Stampin Up called Candy Cane Christmas and the cardstock is also SU called Baja Breeze. I used my SU border punch for the fancy edging and Blushing Bride Ribbon Stitched Poly and tied the bow using my bow-easy. The sentiment is LOTV cut out with my SU circle punch. I used adhesive pearls from my stash and flowers are Prima Daisy Dreams Snow.

What a really quiet but boring week I have had of last. Seren was on half term and went away with her daddy so I was left here on my own but thankfully I still had to go to work so at least the days went quicker. Still didnt find time to craft though lol!

We had some amazing entries into our last challenge of Halloween over on Magical Monday Challenge so don't forget to check to see if you are our winner. Our next challenge has a theme of Circles and Stripes and I decided to create a Christmas card as I hadn't made as many as I had thought!! We are kindly being sponsored by Crafty Purple Frog.

The image I have chosen to use is from Wild Rose Studio called Phoebe with Dove which I coloured in with my copics and added Sakura glitter pen to her wings and Stickles to the trim. I then cut out with my circular nestie and pieced onto Real Red and Old Olive cardstock both from Stampin Up. The dp is what I have purchased brand new from Papermania called Mistletoe Kisses and for a 12x12 pad was only £4.99. Ribbon used is also Real Red from SU and the bow tied with my bow easy. The sentiment was another new purchase which is from The Snowman range. This was cut out with my Woodware circle punch and pieced onto a scallop circle punched out with my SU punch. Flowers are from wildorchidcrafts and red adhesive gems from my stash.

Can't believe its that time of year again as its nearly Halloween, the clocks change and the dark and cold nights are upon us!!

The theme over on Magical Monday Challenge is Halloween and we are being sponsored by High Hopes Stamps who are offering to the lucky winner 3 "Magical" rubber stamps.

I have used an Angel Bear Halloween stamp from High Hopes and coloured in with promarkers and black glitter on the wings. The black cardstock is from Stampin Up called Basic Black. The dp I have used was sent to me in a RAK so no idea what they are all called. I used my Magnolia Halloween sentiment, stars from Hobbycraft and black adhesive pearls also from Hobbycraft.

MAGICAL MONDAY - Use 3 punches

What an amazing last week we have had with the glorious sunshine - shame it can't be like this when its suppose to be during the proper summer lol! It doesn't feel like October especially knowing that the kids will be breaking up soon for half term!!

Our challenge over on Magical Monday is to use 3 different punches and we are being sponsored by the lovely Lacey and her store Stamp and Create.

I have used my gorgeous Magnolia stamp with violin and coloured her in with promarkers and Sakura Clear Star gellyroll pen on her wings. I cut her out with my plain circle nestie and pieced her onto a scalloped circle cut out of white shimmer card from my stash. The dp are both from Magnolia called Under the Mistletoe and Vintage Christmas. I used my Stampin Up border punch for the fancy edging. The flowers were punched out of the same shimmer card and Regal Rose cardstock from Stampin Up using my Nellie Snellen Poinsettia punches, I added white flower brads from my stash. The pink sentiment is from craftworkcards and is also pieced onto shimmer card punched out with my Woodware circle punch. The pink pearls are from Hobbycraft and the white ribbon was from my stash of which the ribbon was tied used my bow-easy.

We had some great entries into our last challenge over on Magical Monday and I think probably the most so far!

Our theme for this next challenge is Christmas in September as I'm pretty sure we are all starting to make those Christmas cards as it'll soon be upon us lol!

Seren goes back to school tomorrow and she will be in Year 2 with a brand new teacher to the school so fingers crossed all goes well. Just hoping Seren will get up when I tell her as she was on holiday in Barmouth with her daddy last week and I expect she has had a few late nights and lie ins lol!

I chose the gorgeous Mushroom Fairy which as it is more like a sketch I decided not to add any colour to it and chose a colour theme of Black and White to match!

The dp I chose to use is from Stampin Up called Night and Day Designer Paper Series and the dp is black cardstock from my stash. Black silk ribbon also from my stash and flowers punched out with my Woodware punches. I added silver adhesive gems around the card for detail. The sketch I followed was from the latest challenge over on Totally Gorjuss.

I have had a lovely Bank Holiday weekend but its been very quiet! Seren went away with her daddy to Barmouth and won't be back until Sunday. It's always nice to have a break but after the two days she is normally away I feel so alone!! Will be glad to be back at work Wednesday as hopefully the days will go by quicker as they seem to be dragging lol!

Friday night I went for a lovely curry and a few drinks around Newport, Shropshire and spent Bank Holiday Monday in the pub with a friend for a lovely meal and drink which I haven't done before on a Bank Holiday Monday and really enjoyed it as it did take my mind off Seren not being here.

Also totally lost my mojo recently hence why there has been only my DT cards on my blog. Just cant get motivated at the moment. Think also its because my craft room has most of my clothes in bags in there as I am in the process of awaiting new bedroom furniture and only have my old bed in the bedroom. Should be next week that it all arrives though :-) Hopefully once I get my clothes moved out I can maybe get back to entering some challenges.

I had a really enjoyable Saturday night when I went to a Greek restaurant in Wolverhampton to celebrate my ex-husbands' cousins 40th birthday! Its a real shame most of her friends left before the most exciting entertainment began as no photo's were taken but both myself and his cousin had to dress up as bellydancers - my outfit I could only describe as minimal lol! It consisted of a sequined bikini top and traditional long skirt - god if only my mom could have seen me lol! We were both dancing on the tables but did get a free cocktail for doing so!!

Anyway less of my weekend and onto this weeks Magical Monday Challenge which this week is a lovely sketch created by out very own Heidi.

Haven't had much time to craft lately where do the hours in the day go lol! Also still can't find my mojo but hopefully after this week away camping again with my daughter I will be alot better!! We are off to Marden in Kent as my cousin lives nr there and she recently had a little baby girl so got to go and have a munch!!

Our challenge over on Magical Monday has a theme of Banners and Glitter as chosen by Heidi. Our sponsor for this challenge is Pollycraft who are offering 5 digi's of the winners choice.

For my creation I have used Crystal Fairies 2 which is available for download from Pollycraft and coloured her in with copics and used Sakura pen on her wings. The dp used is an assortment from a paper pack called Quite Contrary . The cardstock is Regal Rose from Stampin Up. To create the banners I used my Whiff of Joy Pennants die cut and added stickles around the edges. The sentiment is from Pink Gem Designs pieced onto a scallop circle cut out with my SU punch and added stickles around the border. The flowers are wildorchidcrafts and the pink gems were from Wynneth.

I have also seen that this also fits the challenge over on I Love Promarkers which has a theme of Things With Wings.

THINKING OF YOU HANGLAR

Its the dreaded school holidays and I had the usual 'I'm bored' from Seren on the first day lol! I went to work yesterday so my mom came to babysit and today its the local play scheme run by Seren's school. Seren is back there tomorrow then my mom is coming back around on Friday - oh my its all go lol!

Anyway back to my creation which I have made for the lovely challenge over on Lovely-Haenglar-Only which is Embossing and also I followed the lovely sketch over on Sketch 'n' Stash.

I used one of my Hanglar stamps from kit 11 and its already over 6 months old! I coloured her in promarkers, cut out with my plain circular nestie and added some purple chalk around the edges. The embossed cardstock is called Leaf Trails from Kanban and the dp used are from Lap of Luxury Designer Paper Series from Stampin Up. The purple cardstock is also from SU called Concord Crush. I used my SU scallop circle punch for the piecing on the sentiment which is from Hanglar. The flowers are all from wildorchidcrafts and the pink gems are from my stash.

ABC CHRISTMAS DT CARD - O is for Old Stamp

Hi to you all and another week over on ABC Christmas Challenge which I am hosting. The theme is O is for Old Stamp which we would love to see you use an image that is over a year old.

Some sad news as this will be the last time I will be hosting as I have decided to stand down from the fantastic DT. I found it really hard to make the decision but have thoroughly enjoyed my time being an inspiration to you all.

MAGICAL MONDAY DT CARD - Use some Texture

I have had a really quiet weekend except for going to my nephews 9th birthday party on Saturday as Seren was with her daddy all weekend.

Our challenge over on Magical Monday is based on Textures which we want to see 2 or more textures used on a creation. We are also being joined by 2 Guest Design Team Members Sande and Marion.

I used one of my LOTV fairy images and coloured her in with promarkers and glitter glue on her wings. I then cut out with circular nestie and pieced it onto a scallop circle cut out of Regal Rose cardstock from SU. The dp is a sheet from Papermania Rose Garden paper pack and the circle embossed card is from Kanban. I added lace from my stash and added adhesive pearls. The flowers I made myself following a tuturial which I have posted about in a later post.

Decided to get another card done this week and this time I have followed the lovely sketch over on Totally Gorjuss and the colour theme over on Lovely Haenglar Only which is brown, cream and blue.

I have used one my sitting down Hanglar stamps, coloured her in with promarkers and cut out with my oval nestie mounted onto a scallop shaped nestie diecut. The blue cardstock is Not Quite Navy and Very Vanilla both from Stampin Up. The dp is also a selection from Bella Bleu Designer Series also from SU. After a really horrible morning with heavy rain it has now dried up and the sun is making an appearance - don't think its going to last though as thunderstorms are predicted for later :-(

I have decided to make a card for the challenge over on Sweetpea Stampers which has a theme of wings and followed the lovely sketch over on Sunday Sketch and Stamp.

I have used my Restless Thoughts image created by Ching-Chou Kuik and coloured in with promarkers and Sakura glitter pens on her wings. I then shaped the edges with my X-cut punch. The cardstock used is from the Bazzill range called Bling Feather Boa and the dp is a sheet from Nitwit Collections Essentials Butterfly Kisses range called Butterflies. The ribbon and butterfly are both from Hobbycraft, the flowers are Prima Daisy Dreams and the sentiment was part of a sentiment stamp set sent to me from my friend Amy.

A BIT OF VINTAGE BOUTIQUE

It seems to have been ages that I have created a card for the challenge over on The Sugar Bowl so thought I would have to give their latest challenge a go as the theme is 'make your own flowers'. I'd recently found a lovely tuturial on You Tube by Pinkaboo6691 to make some scunched up flowers. They in turn got the idea from Dawn over on dawnsstampingthoughts.net. This is what I came up with:-

The image I have used is from Simply Sassy called Vintage Boutique which I coloured in with my promarkers, added brown chalk around the edge and cut out with my Labels Eight nestability. The dp used is from DCWV The Linen Closet Stack. I used my Martha Stewart Arches punch and added beige organza ribbon from my stash. For the flowers I used the same dp. Fern punched out with my Martha Stewart punch and rhinestones from Treasures by Shabby Chic.

Sorry for my late posting of my DT card for the challenge over on Magical Monday. After arriving back late Friday night from my camping trip in Cornwall I had loads to catch up on over the weekend plus with having my daughter found no time at to craft. Today is my day off from work so got started on my creation.

For the challenge over on Magical Monday we have a lovely sketch to follow created by our very own Heidi of which we are being sponsored by CRAFTY RIBBONS.

Here is what I came up with

I used one of my Pergamano clear stamps from the Fairies 1 set and coloured her in with promarkers and stickles on her wings. I then cut her out with my Labels One nestability. The cardstock used is Certainly Celery from Stampin Up and the dp is from My Mind's Eye Quite Contrary paper pack. The sentiment is from LOTV cut out with my Woodware circle punch and pieced onto a scallop circle cut out with SU scallop circle punch. Flowers, brads and lace are all from my stash and the rhinestone accents are from Treasures by Shabby Chic.

This will be one of my last postings before I go off on holiday on Saturday for a week camping in Cornwall. Just wishing the weather to change dramatically as the extended forecast doesnt look good!

I have created my card for some friends of mine who last week had their 3rd child a baby boy so now they have 1 girl and 2 boys. They haven't decided on a name yet but I'm sure when they do it will be well worth the naming delay.

What horrible weather we had over the weekend I wish it would just go away after all its suppose to be 'flamin' June lol! I'm off on holiday to Cornwall on Saturday and the forecast so far isn't looking good - just will have to make the most of it!!

I cut her out with my circular nestie and pieced onto a Die-namics decorative doily cut out of Stampin Up Blushing Bride cardstock. The ribbon is also SU Blushing Bride. The dp is from my Papermania Blueberry Hill paper pack and embossed card from Kanban. The flowers were punched out with my woodware punches and the sentiment from LOTV Dreamy Days Circular Sentiments was cut out with my SU scallop circle punch and stamped with Rose Bud Memento ink. I've managed to complete 2 cards over the last 2 days - which is a record for me considering I have been at work, have Seren before and after school and have been out with my friend on Monday afternoon for a meal!

My first creation I used the lovely sketch over on this weeks Totally Gorjuss and followed the theme over on this weeks Totally Papercrafts which is Get Fruity. It also fits into the theme over on Simon Says Stamp which is Lets Get Fruity with a photo inspiration!

I used my Apple Tilda image and coloured her in with promarkers then cut out with my oval nestie. The dp used is Summer Picnic Designer Paper series, cardstock is Real Red as is the ribbon and Old Olive all from Stampin Up. The sentiment is from Magnolia, bow tied with my bow-easy, adhesive stones from Papermania and flowers from wildorchidcrafts.

LOTV AND HANGLAR

Well to make the most of my crafting time I made 2 cards yesterday. I never even got out my pj's as it was so miserable!!

The first of my cards is for the challenge over on LOTV which is themed I Believe In Fairies, using the gorgeous sketch over on Sunday Sketch and Stamp and also for the challenge over on A Spoonful Of Sugar which is Flower Power.

I used my LOTV Pom Pom fairy and coloured her in with my promarkers and stickles on her wings. I then cut her out with my plain square nestie. Cardstock used is Regal Rose from Stampin Up as is the ribbon. The dp I have used is from Papermania Blueberry Hill which is one of my favourites (might have to try and get some more!) The sentiment was part of a fairy sayings stamp set sent to me by my friend Amy, pink pearls are Hobbycraft and the flowers are all from wildorchidcrafts.

The second of my cards I made for the challenge over on Lovely-Haenglar-Only which is themed Dots.

I used one of my favourite Hanglar stamps and coloured her in with promarkers and cut out with my Labels Four nestie. Cardstock used is Chocolate Chip from Stampin Up. The lighter brown and large circled dp is from cherryarte.com called Seasonal Raindrops which is the same double sided sheet. The blue and brown dotted dp is from Making Memories Vintage Findings called Brown Wallpaper Findings. The brown lacey ribbon I found in my stash, brown pearls from hobbyhouse.co.uk and flowers are from Magnolia.

I'm making the most of my crafting time over the next few days as Seren has gone camping with her daddy until Wednesday then she will finally return to me Thursday night. I am missing her though!!

I thought I would enter the new sketch over on Sketch 'n' Stash with my chosen winning stamp Simply Sassy Fairy Tale from Funky Kits as I won the Sugar Nellie Facebook challenge which was themed Men Cards! Its took me 3 days to make the following card as have only had a few hours each day to craft due to work commitments! Had to get it finished today as my parents are coming round later to see me and Seren to tell us all about their cruise to Italy over the last couple of weeks!

I have used one of the new Magnolia stamps called Strawberry Yummy and cut out with my Labels 10 nestie. The strawberry dp is Magnolia, green leaf dp is Lime Garden and red strawberry dp are both from K & Company 12x12 papers. I have decided to make my mom's birthday card from Seren as the theme over on the Sugar Bowl is Birthdays and they also have a lovely sketch to follow to.

I had a really quiet weekend as Seren was at her Daddy's so it was really lovely to make a few cards with total concentration for a change lol! I took Seren to see Olly Murs at the NIA in Birmingham Sunday night which was absolutely fantastic as we were 7 rows from the front!!

Whilst enjoying my child-free weekend I decided to get my latest creation for the challenge over on the Sugar Bowl which is themed Distressed/Vintage and also the Facebook Sugar Nellie challenge which this week is Pink!

I have used one of my latest purchases from the Gorjuss Girl collection called Ruby and coloured her in with promarkers. Here we are on our next challenge over on ABC Christmas Challenge which has a theme of a Joyfold Card. We have a lovely tuturial on the main challenge blog which has been done by our lovely Helen.

I have decided to use my Gillian Roberts Bear and Robin stamp, coloured it in with copics and added stickles around the hat and for the snow.

It's back to work for me today after 12 days off - I hope it isn't too busy lol! I have followed the lovely sketch over on this weeks Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge Blog and used the theme over on Just Magnolia which is Buttons, Bows and Bling!

I have used one of my newest Magnolia Tilda images called Hello Little Butterfly and coloured it in with promarkers and Sakura Glitter Pen, I then cut out with my oval nestie. The dp used I got from Hobbycraft called Butterfly Kisses - Butterflies and Kisses from the Nitwit Collections Essentials range. I have even had to purchase the Butterfly digi dp sets from Nitwit as they are adorable. The cardstock is from Bazzill called Bling Petty Cash, fancy edge punched with my Martha Stewart Arches punch, flowers are from my stash as are the buttons and ribbon, sentiment from craftworkcards, fancy corner is a Cuttlebug Vintage and the pink adhesive spots are called Glitterati.

MAGICAL MONDAY DT CARD - SKETCH!

What a lovely Royal Wedding we had last Friday. Really thought Princess Catherine's dress was totally gorgeous and think that this royal couple are truely in love and will be for many years to come.

We have some sad news over on Magical Monday but Clare who has been on the DT since the challenge blog first began has had to step down so this will be the last challenge she will take part in with us. I'm sure you will want to pop over to her blog and wish her luck in her new venture.

Now onto our new challenge over on Magical Monday which is a gorgeous sketch drawn up by the lovely Heidi.

I have used my Make A Wish stamp from Sugar Nellie and coloured her in with promarkers and Sakura Glitter Pen. I then cut her out with my circular nestie and shaded around the image with pink chalk. The dp I have used is from Papermania Rose Garden and mounted onto Pretty In Pink cardstock from SU. The pink web ribbon is from Bunny Zoe, pink pearls from Hobbycraft, flowers from wildorchidcrafts and sentiment from craftworkcards.

ME TO YOU BEARS HAVE ARRIVED!

I am so over the moon that you can now purchase Me To You Bear card making kits and accessories that I have had to purchase some of the items. As well as an admirer of the figureen's and bears themselves these had to be a must!

I have followed the lovely sketch over on Sweet Stop Sketch this week.

The adorable stamp I have used is called A Gift Inside and is coloured in with copics and Sakura glitter pen. The dp is from the Me To You paper pack called Especially For You as is the co-ordinating ribbon and bow. For the cardstock I used Baja Breeze from SU which the smaller piece I ran through my Bigshot with a Cuttlelbug Swiss Dots embossing plate. Flowers are Prima Daisy Dreams and pink shimmer dots are Papermania.

I won't be crafting at all tomorrow as its the Royal Wedding and my parents are coming round to watch it with me complete with salmon sandwiches and my mom's very special trifle which is to die for lol!!

ITS HANGLAR TIME!

My daughter has gone back to school for 2 days but I don't think they will be doing much! Today they are doing a 'Move It' programme to raise money for the school which involves dancing on a dance mat following arrows. Depending how much each child raises will determine what Move It items they receive - starting from a wristband to a hooded top! The best boy and girl out of each class will also get a medal. Tomorrow is 'Wear What You Want' day but using the colours Red, White and Blue ready for the Royal Wedding on Friday.

My card I have created is for a few challenges. Sunday Sketch and Stamp which I have used the lovely sketch and Lovely-Haenglar-Only which is to use Your Favourite Stamp.

I have used the sitting down Hanglar stamp which has to be my treasured stamp and will not give her up for anything together with the matching sentiment. I coloured her in with promarkers, layered onto Always Artichoke cardstock from Stampin Up and pieced onto dp from K & Company Classic McKenna. The ribbon is also Always Artichoke from SU, roses and cherry blossom from wildorchidcrafts, gem brads from my stash and for the fancy corner I used a die cut from my Cuttlebug Vintage set which I adore. The fancy edging was created using my SU eyelet border punch.

Here is my creation for this challenge:-

I have used 2 sheets of dp from Dovecraft Winter Wonderland pack and decoupaged two of the trees. All the DT were sent a craft package from Brenda so out of it I used blue cardstock, clear buttons, silver twine and silver 'tinsel' type ribbon. The snowflakes I punched out of silver cardstock from my stash with my snowflake punch.

I have actually made a creation for the challenge over on the Sugar Nellie Facebook page - my first one ever on there.

I have followed the gorgeous sketch over on this weeks Sketch Saturday Challenge. I used one of my newest Sugar Nellie stamps from the Simply Sassy collection called Butterflies and Pigtails, coloured her in with promarkers and cut out with my circular nestie. For the matting I used my scallop circle nestie. The brown cardstock is Chocolate Chip as is the ribbon and the dp is from Sweet Always Designer Paper Series all from Stampin Up. For the fancy edging I used my Arches punch from Martha Stewart. Roses are from wildorchidcrafts, pearls from Hobbyhouse and sentiment is Magnolia.

THE PAPER SHELTER challenge 9

I have stumbled across a great challenge blog called The Paper Shelter and they sell some lovely digi stamps and papers so had to have a go at their latest challenge which was a sketch to follow.

Its my sister-in-laws birthday in May, she lives in the Bahamas and trained as a pastry chef but now works from home baking gorgeous fancy cakes for special occasions and also cupcakes so thought this was very appropriate as soon as I saw it! I have kept embellishments to a minimum as it will have to be posted and its going a very long way!

I have used a lovely digi image called Nina Pattisiere which I have coloured in with promarkers and Sakura glitter pen. Cardstock used is Pretty In Pink as is the ribbon which are both from Stampin Up. The lovely dp of which I had to get some more of is from The Sweet Stack by DCWV, sentiment is new from LOTV and stamped in Rose Bud Memento Ink and adhesive gems are from Papermania.

Well what a lovely weekend we have had and fingers crossed this lovely weather will continue over the next few days as they predict!

I have made my next card for our latest challenge over on Magical Monday which has been chosen by Distressed Miss and that is Monochromatic (not just black and white). I have made 2 cards the same but with different stamps. This features LOTV Birthday Fairy which has been coloured in with promarkers and Sakura Stardust glitter effect gelpen for detail.

For the challenge over on LOTV which is Happy Birthday as they are celebrating their 2nd birthday/anniversary I have used Rosie Posy.

Of course I have had to use my favourite colour of pink as this colour seems to dominate my crafting stash lol! I coloured her in with promarkers and Sakura Stardust Glitter effect gelpen and cut out with my circular nestie. The fancy frilly die cuts are new from Spellbinders Shapeabilities Floral Doily Motifs cut out of Stampin Up Pretty In Pink cardstock. The dp used is also from Stampin Up called Sweet Always which sadly has now been discontinued as is the Pretty In Pink ribbon. The sentiment is from the new stamp collection from LOTV stamped in Memento Rose Bud ink and cut out with my Woodware circular punch. Fancy corners are cut out from my Cuttlebug Vintage set, crystal gems are from Treasures from Shabby Chic and flowers are from wildorchidcrafts.

I can't believe this but another card I have finished today and this time for two challenges which are I Love Promarkers 61 - sketch and ABC Challenge S is for Sugar and Spice!

I'm in love with my promarkers again and followed various You Tube Tuturials on how to get the skin tone, hair and dress details right which I do hope I have achieved. I have used my latest Magnolia stamp called Tilda with Butterfly Dress which I also used pink Sakura Stardust gelpen glitter effect. The cardstock is Pink Passion from SU and the dp is from Papermania Summer Bloom. I used my Martha Stewart punch for the fancy border around the image, pearls from Bling Bling, lace was from Lacey, deep pink roses from my stash and centre rose and cherry blossom from wildorchidcrafts.

Its still a very quiet week at my house as Seren is away until Sunday with her Daddy, so making the most of my crafting time!

I have followed the lovely sketch over on Sketch n Stash and the theme over on wildorchidchallenge which is Wings.

I have used a new Sweet Pea stamp sent to me by my crafting friend Amy called In The Wind and coloured her in with copics and added gold glitter for the moon and Blueberry Ice Stickles to her wings. I then cut her out with my plain oval nestie and pieced onto a scallop oval nestie shape. The cardstock is from Stampin Up called Lavender Lace and the dp is from Best Creation Inc called Once Upon a Dream. The sentiment I havent used for a while is from Stampin Up Oval All stamp set cut out with my plain oval and scallop oval SU punches. Purple edged lace and roses all from wildorchidcrafts. For the fancy corners I used my Cuttlebug Vintage die cut. Adhesive gems from Papermania.

What a gorgeous weekend we had. I decided to lavish it up by buying a new sun lounger and lying out in the glorious sunshine reading my Kindle. Seren is away in south Wales with her Daddy this week so making the most of the quiet and crafting time!

Hope you all had a lovely weekend and an enjoyable Mother's Day. I was woken at 7am by my 6 year old daughter with a Me To You Bear holding a patchwork heart and breakfast in bed consisting of a croissant and orange squash (she didn't think about getting orange juice out the fridge lol). I also enjoyed a lovely meal out with my parents.

Back to our challenge over on Magical Monday. Sadly both Vicky (blog founder) and Cathy have decided to step down to persue other ventures but I have volunteered to take it over as I really enjoy the challenges and using 'Magical Winged Images'.

I have received some beautiful stamps from In 2 Stamps and had to use one of them for my next creation. I have followed the lovely sketch over on Sketch Saturday and used the theme over on One Stop Crafts which is Angels and Fairies.

Its a shame it was a cooler weekend but seems to have brightened up today which influenced me with my choice of colours on my entry to the Just Magnolia and hAanglar & sTanglar challenge which the theme was Bingo! They have given you a choice of items to be on a straight line from the following:-

I have also followed the gorgeous sketch over on Friday Sketchers created by Jeanette and would like to enter it into the challenge over on Totally Gorjuss which is themed Spring. I have used my new Magnolia Stamp called Hello Little Butterfly and coloured her in with my copics and Sakura glitter pen on the Butterfly. I'm off to see Westlife tonight at the LG Arena and really looking forward to it as its been ages since I went to concert. I'm going with my old school friend whom I have been friends with since junior school - 30+ years!!

What another gorgeous day we have had today just hope it can last till at least over the weekend when I am child free for 2 days!! Inspiration for my card has been inspired by the the gorgeous weather we have been having of late, and would like to enter it into the fantastic sketch challenge over on LOTV.

I have used one of the lovely fairy stamps from LOTV called Fairy on Tiptoe, coloured her in with promarkers and ice stickles and cut out with my circular nestability. The dp used is from Papermania Rose Garden and the cardstock is Very Vanilla from Stampin Up as is the ribbon which I tied into a bow with my bow-easy. For the decorative border I used my Martha Stewart Cherish punch. I have used one of my clear stamps from Pergamano and coloured her in with copics and Cotton Candy stickles on her wings. For the shaped card and dp I used my new Frilly 3 die cut frames from Go Kreate and created an easel card. What a lovely weekend we have been having and today being the first day of Spring it looks like another lovely day! I was really pleased to receive some of the new Magnolia stamps from the Butterfly Dreams collection and couldn't wait to use them so I used my Tilda with Straw Hat. I have followed the lovely sketch by Sonja over on A Spoonful of Sugar and have used my Favourite Colours which is the theme over on Just Magnolia.

Dp is from Papermania Henbury Lane paper pack, used my Daisy Martha Stewart punch for the fancy edging and added pretty corners using my Cuttlebug Vintage die cut. I used my Die-namics Doily die cut for the fancy circle which was cut out of Doodlebug Flourish Impressions cardstock. The lace was purchased from a lovely little home decor shop in Mevagissy whilst I was on holiday there last August. Pink gems from my stash, flowers from wildorchidcrafts and fern punched out with my Martha Stewart punch.

For my DT creation I have used Real Red cardstock and Candy Cane Designer Paper both from Stampin Up. The image has been coloured in with copics and stickles. Ribbon is from my stash, bow tied with my bow-easy and red adhesive gems from Hobbycraft.

SAY IT WITH FLOWERS

What another spring like day we are having here in the Midlands. Its very pleasant outside for a change - just hope this will continue for a few more days!

Anyway onto my next creation which I have made a bit of a boo boo with. I am entering this into the LOTV Thursday Challenge which is themed Say It With Flowers but I have used the sketch over on Just Magnolia created by Bev so hope this will be okay (hopefully I will be entering this challenge during this week with another creation!)

I have used Rosie Posy from LOTV and coloured her in with copics and cut her out with my circular nestie. The dp is from Papermania Summer Bloom paper pack and cardstock is YoYo Yellow from Stampin Up. I used my Martha Stewart Floral Lace edge punch and added a strip of felt flowers from my stash. The pearls and flowers are all from wildorchidcrafts.

ITS BABY TIME!

What a worrying couple of days I have had this past week. My dad was told 2 weeks ago that back in November he suffered a mini stroke which at the time it happened he was admitted to Nottingham Hospital for various blood tests but as far as they could tell everything was ok! A bit worrying when his eyesight wasnt 100% and when they discharged him the same day it had happened they wasnt bothered how he was going to get home! Luckily he got in touch with one of his work colleagues who was in the area who fetched him. Thursday just gone he had to have a MRI scan which my dad should have the results in about 3 weeks and today he has had to have an ultra sound! I've got my fingers well and truely crossed that all is going to be ok.

Anyway back to my card. I am entering this into four challenges which are:- Friday Sketchers Challenge 145, I Love Promarkers which is themed Babies, ABC Challenge which is themed P is for Pearls and Totally Gorjuss which is themed Pearls and Lace. I also have two friends who are both expecting (by coincidence) their third child and neither want to know what the sex is so tried to stay with a neutral colour! Will make another baby card at a later date.

The image I have used is Willow holding Baby from Whiff of Joy coloured in Promarkers. The cardstock used is from Stampin Up called Apricot Appeal. The dp is from Nana's Nursery Baby Girl. Lace was kindly given to me in a RAK from my DT friend Lacey, pearls are from Hobbycraft, flowers are wildorchidcrafts and fancy corners are from Cuttlebug Vintage set.

MISS LADYBUGS

I'm loving all these new stamps that are being launched for 2011 just wish I had a bit more cash to buy more lol! My latest purchases were from Whiff of Joy of which I have used one of them on my next card. I have decided to make a head start on a card for my Mom for Mother's Day.

I am entering this into the latest challenge over on Whiff of Joy which has a theme of Buttons and Blooms and also Friday Sketchers who have a lovely sketch by Rach.

This one is called Miss Ladybugs and I think she is adorable. I coloured her in with my promarkers and added some clear star Sakura pen to the flowers on her dress. The cardstock I have used is called Cameo Coral from Stampin Up and the dp is from K & Company Classic K McKenna. I cut out a circle using my circular nestie from embossed cardstock from Kanban. The sentiment I'm not too sure what the make is as was roaming loose in my ink box! Flowers are all from wildorchidcrafts, buttons and ribbon from my stash and pearls from Hobbycraft.
